Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi fenomena pembelajaran Menggambar Teknik di SMK, mengidentifikasi kompetensi yang dibentuk melalui pembelajaran, serta menganalisis kesesuaian kompetensi lulusan dengan kebutuhan dunia industri. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain multiple case study yang dilaksanakan di SMKN 1 Jakarta dan SMKN 26 Jakarta. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi yang melibatkan guru, peserta didik, alumni, dan pihak industri. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan model Miles, Huberman, dan Saldaña dengan bantuan perangkat lunak NVivo, sedangkan keabsahan data diuji melalui triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran Menggambar Teknik membentuk kompetensi teknis yang meliputi kemampuan membaca gambar teknik, membuat gambar teknik, dan mengoperasikan perangkat lunak Computer Aided Design (CAD), serta kompetensi nonteknis berupa disiplin, komunikasi, kerja sama, tanggung jawab, dan kemampuan memecahkan masalah. Kompetensi lulusan dinilai telah sesuai dengan kebutuhan dasar industri, namun masih memerlukan proses adaptasi melalui orientasi dan training industri, penyesuaian terhadap standar operasional, teknologi, budaya kerja, serta penguatan soft skills. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, penelitian ini menghasilkan Model Konseptual Adaptive Link and Match yang menggambarkan pembentukan kompetensi lulusan sebagai proses berkelanjutan melalui tahapan input, process, output, adaptation, dan outcome sehingga kompetensi lulusan dapat diterapkan secara optimal sesuai dengan kebutuhan industri. ***** This study aims to explore the phenomenon of Technical Drawing instruction in vocational high schools (SMK), identify the competencies developed through this instruction, and analyze the alignment between graduate competencies and industry requirements. A qualitative approach with a multiple-case study design was employed, conducted at SMKN 1 Jakarta and SMKN 26 Jakarta. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis involving teachers, students, alumni, and industry representatives. Data analysis utilized the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña model with the aid of NVivo software, while data validity was verified through source and technique triangulation. The results indicate that Technical Drawing instruction fosters technical competencies—specifically the ability to read and create techn7ical drawings and operate Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software—as well as non-technical competencies such as discipline, communication, teamwork, responsibility, and problem-solving skills. While graduate competencies are deemed aligned with basic industry needs, an adaptation process remains necessary; this involves industry orientation and training, adjustment to operational standards, technologies, and work cultures, as well as the strengthening of soft skills. Based on these findings, the study proposes an Adaptive Link and Match conceptual model. This model illustrates the development of graduate competencies as a continuous process comprising input, process, output, adaptation, and outcome stages, ensuring that competencies can be optimally applied to meet industry demands.
