Abstract

Pemanfaatan teknologi digital dalam dunia pendidikan terus berkembang dan membuka peluang untuk menghadirkan media pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif serta sesuai dengan karakteristik peserta didik di era modern. Materi gelombang mekanik yang masih dianggap sulit oleh sebagian peserta didik menjadi salah satu alasan perlunya pengembangan media pembelajaran yang menarik, efektif, dan mudah diakses. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan video microlearning berbasis media sosial pada materi gelombang mekanik sebagai media pembelajaran fisika yang layak digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan Dick and Carey. Proses pengembangan meliputi tahap analisis kebutuhan, perancangan produk, pengembangan media, validasi produk, serta revisi produk. Produk yang dihasilkan berupa video microlearning yang dipublikasikan melalui platform media sosial TikTok dan Instagram. Berdasarkan hasil validasi, produk memperoleh persentase kelayakan sebesar 88% dari ahli materi dan 92% dari ahli media dengan kategori sangat layak. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa video microlearning yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi kriteria kelayakan dari aspek materi maupun media sehingga dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai alternatif media pembelajaran fisika pada materi gelombang mekanik. **** The utilization of digital technology in education continues to advance, creating opportunities for the development of more innovative learning media that align with the characteristics of learners in the modern era. Mechanical wave material is still considered difficult by many students, highlighting the need for learning media that are engaging, effective, and easily accessible. This study aimed to develop social media-based microlearning videos on mechanical wave material as a feasible learning medium for physics instruction. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the Dick and Carey instructional design model. The development process consisted of needs analysis, product design, media development, product validation, and product revision. The resulting product was a microlearning video published through the social media platforms TikTok and Instagram. Based on the validation results, the product achieved a feasibility score of 88% from the material expert and 92% from the media expert, both categorized as highly feasible. These findings indicate that the developed microlearning video meets the feasibility criteria in terms of both content and media aspects, making it suitable as an alternative learning medium for teaching mechanical wave material in physics.
