Abstract
Sistem pencahayaan di fasilitas pendidikan sering kali dibiarkan menyala konstan tanpa penyesuaian dengan keberadaan maupun aktivitas penggunanya, sehingga memicu inefisiensi dan terbuangnya energi listrik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan pendekatan V-Model, bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun purwarupa Sistem Pencahayaan Pintar Pada Ruang Laboratorium Telekomunikasi L406 UNJ Menggunakan Computer Vision guna mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan daya listrik. Sistem kendali pada penelitian ini menggunakan mikrokontroler NodeMCU ESP32 yang diintegrasikan dengan IP Camera untuk menangkap citra ruangan secara real-time, modul relay sebagai saklar elektronik, serta media pemrosesan Google Colab yang menjalankan algoritma deteksi objek YOLOv11. Sistem beroperasi secara otonom dengan memetakan posisi pengguna ke dalam enam area spasial (Zona A hingga F). Apabila keberadaan manusia terdeteksi pada suatu zona secara berturut-turut selama 2 detik (enter delay), sistem akan mengirimkan instruksi kendali nirkabel via koneksi TCP kepada ESP32 untuk menyalakan lampu LED Floodlight pada titik tersebut. Proses distribusi cahaya atau pemadaman lampu akan dihentikan dengan jeda waktu toleransi (exit delay) selama 5 detik setelah zona terdeteksi kosong guna mencegah lampu menyala-mati secara keliru (flickering). Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu mengeksekusi keputusan pencahayaan dengan tingkat keberhasilan deteksi sebesar 83% dari total keseluruhan pengujian. ***** Lighting systems in educational facilities are often left turned on constantly without adjusting to the presence or activities of their users, leading to inefficiency and wasted electrical energy. This study employs the Research and Development (R&D) method using the V-Model approach, aiming to design and build a prototype of a Smart Lighting System in the Telecommunications Laboratory Room L406 at Universitas Negeri Jakarta based on Computer Vision to optimize electrical power utilization. The control system in this research utilizes a NodeMCU ESP32 microcontroller integrated with an IP Camera to capture real-time room imagery, a relay module as an electronic switch, and Google Colab as the processing medium running the YOLOv11 object detection algorithm. The system operates autonomously by mapping the user's position into six spatial areas (Zones A to F). If human presence is detected in a zone consecutively for 2 seconds (enter delay), the system will send wireless control instructions via a TCP connection to the ESP32 to turn on the LED Floodlight in that specific area. The light distribution or lamp extinguishing process will be halted with a tolerance time (exit delay) of 5 seconds after the zone is detected as empty to prevent the lights from falsely turning on and off (flickering). The test results show that the system is capable of executing lighting decisions with a detection success rate of 83% of the total overall tests.
