Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi mendorong perlunya inovasi media pembelajaran yang mampu mendukung proses pembelajaran secara lebih interaktif dan fleksibel. Pada mata kuliah Computer Aided Design (CAD) dan Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) di Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Mesin Universitas Negeri Jakarta, media pembelajaran yang digunakan masih terbatas sehingga belum mampu mengakomodasi kebutuhan belajar mahasiswa secara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis WordPress serta mengetahui tingkat kelayakan sebagai media pembelajaran pada mata kuliah CAD/CAM. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4D yang meliputi tahap Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate. Proses pengembangan diawali dengan analisis kebutuhan, dilanjutkan dengan perancangan dan pengembangan media yang memuat materi pembelajaran, video tutorial, kuis interaktif, serta chatbot berbasis Artificial Intelligence (AI). Selanjutnya, media di validasi oleh ahli materi dan ahli media serta diuji kepada mahasiswa untuk mengetahui tingkat kelayakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis WordPress dinyatakan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli dan uji kelayakan pengguna. Media yang dikembangkan mampu mengintegrasikan berbagai sumber belajar dalam satu platform yang mudah diakses sehingga mendukung pembelajaran yang lebih fleksibel, terstruktur, dan interaktif. Dengan demikian, media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis WordPress dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif media pembelajaran pada mata kuliah CAD/CAM untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran di Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Mesin. ***** The development of information technology has driven the need for innovative learning media that can support a more interactive and flexible learning process. In the Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) courses in the Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program at Jakarta State University, the learning media used are still limited and therefore unable to optimally accommodate students' learning needs. This study aims to develop interactive learning media based on WordPress and determine its feasibility as a learning medium in the CAD/CAM course. The study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with a 4D development model that includes the Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stages. The development process begins with a needs analysis, followed by the design and development of media containing learning materials, video tutorials, interactive quizzes, and an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based chatbot. Next, the media is validated by material experts and media experts and tested on students to determine its feasibility. The results of the study indicate that the interactive learning media based on WordPress is declared suitable for use as a learning medium based on the results of expert validation and user feasibility testing. The developed media is able to integrate various learning resources in one easily accessible platform, thus supporting more flexible, structured, and interactive learning. Thus, WordPress-based interactive learning media can be used as an alternative learning media in CAD/CAM courses to support the learning process in the Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program.
