Abstract

Penelitian ini menghasilkan multimedia interaktif Primary Simple Tenses & Imperative Form sebagai media pendukung pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris kelas X di MAN 2 Kota Tangerang. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan Hannafin dan Peck yang terdiri atas tiga tahap, yaitu need assessment, design, serta development and implementation. Produk yang dikembangkan memuat materi Primary Simple Present Tense, Primary Simple Past Tense, dan Imperative Form. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, kuesioner terbuka dan tertutup, serta tes. Evaluasi formatif dilaksanakan melalui penilaian ahli, one-to-one evaluation, dan small group evaluation, yang diikuti dengan proses revisi dan penyempurnaan produk pada setiap tahap. Uji efektivitas dilakukan terhadap 30 peserta didik kelas X MAN 2 Kota Tangerang menggunakan desain pre-test dan post-test. Hasil uji efektivitas menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata nilai peserta didik dari 55,78 pada pre-test menjadi 84,44 pada post-test. Hasil paired sample t-test menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara nilai pre-test dan post-test (p < 0,001). Selain itu, diperoleh nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,691 yang termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Multimedia interaktif yang dikembangkan memperoleh hasil evaluasi yang sangat baik berdasarkan penilaian ahli dan uji lapangan kepada peserta didik, serta efektif membantu peserta didik dalam mempelajari Primary Simple Present Tense, Primary Simple Past Tense, dan Imperative Form. Kata Kunci: Multimedia Interaktif, Hannafin dan Peck, Bahasa Inggris, Simple Present Tense, Simple Past Tense, Imperative Forms. ***** This study resulted in the development of an interactive multimedia entitled Primary Simple Tenses & Imperative Form as a supporting medium for teaching English to tenth-grade students at MAN 2 Kota Tangerang. The study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the Hannafin and Peck development model, which consists of three stages: need assessment, design, and development and implementation. The developed multimedia covers the topics of Primary Simple Present Tense, Primary Simple Past Tense, and Imperative Form. Data were collected through interviews, open-ended and closed-ended questionnaires, and tests. Formative evaluation was conducted through expert reviews, one-to-one evaluation, and small-group evaluation, followed by product revision and refinement at each stage. The effectiveness of the multimedia was examined through a pre-test and post-test involving 30 tenth-grade students at MAN 2 Kota Tangerang. The effectiveness test showed that the students' mean score increased from 55.78 on the pre-test to 84.44 on the post-test. The paired-samples t-test revealed a statistically significant difference between the pre-test and post-test scores (p < .001). In addition, the N-Gain score was 0.691, which falls into the moderate category. The developed interactive multimedia received very good evaluation results from expert reviews and field testing with students and was effective in helping students learn Primary Simple Present Tense, Primary Simple Past Tense, and Imperative Form.
