Abstract
Literasi biologi merupakan kemampuan memahami konsep dan prinsip dasar biologi yang diperlukan murid untuk menjelaskan berbagai fenomena biologis serta menyikapi isu-isu global secara ilmiah. Instrumen tes untuk mengukur kompetensi literasi biologi di wilayah urban untuk murid SMA belum tersedia. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan instrumen tes literasi biologi untuk murid kelas XII SMA menggunakan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). Instrumen ini mengadaptasi empat dimensi literasi biologi dari nominal, fungsional, struktural, dan multidimensional, dengan format soal bergaya PISA pada materi keanekaragaman hayati, virus, organel sel, bioproses pada sel, sistem organ, pewarisan sifat, evolusi, pertumbuhan dan perkembangan, dan bioteknologi modern. Validasi oleh tiga ahli menghasilkan validitas tinggi pada aspek materi, konstruksi, dan bahasa. Uji praktikalitas oleh 15 murid memperoleh hasil rata-rata yang tinggi (3,40) dan oleh 3 guru menghasilkan nilai rata-rata yang tinggi juga (3,83). Melalui satu tahap uji empiris, dihasilkan produk akhir sebanyak 40 butir soal yang valid, layak, reliabel, dan praktis. Hasil uji coba instrumen tes literasi biologi melalui Google formulir kepada 70 murid di beberapa SMA di wilayah Jakarta menunjukkan rata-rata kemampuan literasi biologi berkategori berprestasi menengah, dengan rata-rata nilai dimensi nominal tertinggi (72,1) dan dimensi multidimensional terendah (34,3). Instrumen tes yang dihasilkan terbukti valid, reliabel, layak, dan praktis untuk memetakan kemampuan literasi biologi murid SMA di wilayah urban. ***** Biological literacy is the ability to understand the fundamental biological concepts and principles required for students to explain various biological phenomena and address global issues scientifically. There is currently no available test instrument to measure biological literacy competence among high school students in urban areas. This study aimed to develop a biological literacy test instrument for Grade 12 high school students using the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). The instrument incorporates four dimensions of biological literacy—nominal, functional, structural, and multidimensional—and utilizes PISA-style question formats covering topics such as biodiversity, viruses, cell organelles, cellular bioprocesses, organ systems, heredity, evolution, growth and development, and modern biotechnology. Expert validation by three specialists confirmed high validity regarding content, construction, and language. Practicality testing involving 15 students yielded a high average score (3.40), as did testing with three teachers (3.83). Following an empirical testing phase, the final product consisted of 40 test items that were valid, suitable, reliable, and practical. A trial of the instrument via Google Forms with 70 students from various high schools in Jakarta revealed an average biological literacy level in the "medium achievement" category; the nominal dimension scored the highest (72.1), while the multidimensional dimension scored the lowest (34.3). The resulting test instrument proved to be valid, reliable, suitable, and practical for assessing the biological literacy skills of urban high school students.
