Abstract
Kata Kunci: Ekstrakurikuler Olahraga, Hambatan Intelektual, Tunagrahita, Pendidikan Jasmani Adaptif *** Abstract:This study aims to analyze the management, implementation, and development of the sports extracurricular program for students with intellectual disabilities at SLB B-C Bina Karya Insani. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques included openended questionnaire surveys, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies, with data validity tested through technical triangulation. The results of the study indicate that: ● Program Management and Development: The program management utilized the PORTURIN module baseline and functional motor assessments rather than relying rigidly on clinical medical labels. External partnership synergy with Special Olympics Indonesia (SOINA) successfully guided students to achieve accomplishments ranging from regional and provincial levels to international arenas. ● Adaptation and Instructional Strategies: Teachers and coaches applied the instructional principle of "speak little, show much, remain consistent" supported by short verbal commands (3-5 words) and visual-gestural cues. Field learning was organized through station training (circuit training) systems, peer tutoring methods, and real-time behavioral monitoring innovations such as the "Three-Indicator Light System" and a Process-Oriented Reward System. ● Constraints and Solutions: The primary obstacles included student mood fluctuations, short attention spans, and limited school sports facilities, which were addressed through the utilization of public sports halls (GOR) and the empowerment of shadow coaches. Keywords: Sports Extracurricular, Intellectual Disability, Tunagrahita, Adapted Physical Education.
