Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh data yang valid dan reliabel untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara kemampuan mengelola kelas dengan hasil belajar. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 4 bulan terhitung dari bulan April sampai dengan Juli 2010. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei dengan pendekatan korelasional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMA Negeri 1 Kosambi. Sedangkan populasi terjangkau adalah siswa kelas XI sebanyak 159 siswa. Sampel yang diambil sebanyak 110 siswa dengan teknik sampling acak sederhana. Untuk menjaring data kedua variabel penelitian, instrumen yang digunakan untuk variabel X (Kemampuan Mengelola Kelas) adalah berbentuk kuesioner dan variabel Y (Hasil Belajar) didapat dari hasil rapor siswa. Untuk Variabel X dilakukan uji Validitas. Dari 35 butir pernyataan ada 9 yang drop, sedangkan yang valid terdiri dari 26 pernyataan. Perhitungan reliabilitas variabel X menggunakan rumus Alpha Cronbach. Hasil reliabilitas instrumen variabel X sebesar 0,835. Hasil ini membuktikan bahwa instrumen tersebut reliabel. Uji persyaratan analisis yang dilakukan adalah uji normalitasgalat taksiran regresi Y atas X dengan uji liliefors menghasilkan Lhitung = 0,080 sedangkan Ltabel untuk n = 110 pada taraf signifikansi(α = 0,05) adalah 0,084. Karena Lhitung < Ltabel maka variabel X dan variabel Y berdistribusi normal. Persamaan regresi yang dihasilkan adalah Ŷ = 52,12 + 0,396 X. Uji keberartian koefisien regresi menghasilkan Fhitung (63.04) > Ftabel (3.91) yang berarti persamaan regresi signifikan. Uji liniearitas regresi menghasilkan Fhitung (1.11) < Ftabel (1.62) sehingga disimpulkan bahwa persamaan regresi tersebut linear. Uji koefisien korelasi product moment menghasilkan rxy = 0,607. Selanjutnya dilakukan uji keberartian koefisien korelasi dengan menggunakan ujit, menghasilkan thitung (7,94) > ttabel (1,67). Hasil penelitian tersebut menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara kemampuan mengelola kelas dengan hasil belajar ekonomi siswa. Dengan uji koefisien determinasi atau penentu diperoleh hasil 36,86% variabel hasil belajar (Y) ditentukan oleh kemampuan mengelola kelas (X). ***** The purpose of this research is to get a valid and reliable data or fact, to know the correlation between ability on class management with student economic result. This research have been done for 4 month since April until july 2010. The method of research is survey method with correlation approach. The populations research was all of student at SMA Negeri 1 Kosambi. And the populationthat can be reach is the student’s in elevent economic class for 159. Sample that has been taken is 110 student’s with technique taken sampling proposional random technique. To get data from two variables, researcher using likert scale quesioner model for ability on class management (X) and Y variable data (Economic Study Result of Student) can we get from result of studen. For variable X, from 35 statements after had validated, 26 statement were valid and 9 statement were drop. The calculation reliability of variable X were using Alpha Cronbach method. Variable X reliability is 0,835. This proof that the instrument were reliable. Analysis of condition test, wich is normaly error test for regretssion approximates of X on Y with liliefors test, result is Lcount= 0,080 and Ltable for n = 110 with significance of 0,05 is 0,084. Because Lcount < Ltable, that normaly error test is normal distribution. The equation for linear regression is Ŷ = 52,12 + 0,396 X. Significance regression result is Fcount (63,04) > Ftable (3,91), it’s mean that the regression equation is significant. And linearity regression test result Fcount (1,11) > Ftable (1,62), that can be interpreted that the regression equation is linear. Result of hypotesis test with Pearson’s Product Moment is rxy = 0,607. Than significance of product moment correlation test with t test, yields tcount (7,94) > ttable (1,67). Result of research conclude that the possitive correlation between ability on class management with student economic result . With coefficient of determined test obtained 36,86 % . it’s mean that student economic result determined by the ability on class management.
