Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah pengaruh lingkungan belajar, self-inquiry, dan minat terhadap penilaian belajar IPS siswa, kemudian mengidentifikasi penyebab dan pengaruh dari masing-masing variabel. Responden yang terlibat adalah 130 siswa dari sekolah dasar negeri di Jakarta Selatan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, rancangan korelasional, dengan teknik analisis jalur. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen berbentuk tes untuk mengases nilai IPS siswa; dan instrumen berbentuk rating scale untuk mengukur sikap siswa terhadap lingkungan belajar, self-inquiry, dan minat mereka. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah statistika deskriptif, statistika inferensial, beserta uji persyaratan analisisnya yaitu uji normalitas dan linearitas. Analisis data deskriptif berupa hasil penjumlahan skor dari instrumen penilaian belajar IPS, lingkungan belajar, dan minat. Analisis data dari uji persyaratan normalitas disajikan dalam bentuk output numerik dan visual skewness & kurtosis z-values; Shapiro-Wilk test p-value; histograms, normal q-q plots & box plots. Analisis data dengan statistik inferensial menggunakan prosedur statistik korelasional yaitu path analysis. Adapun alat pengolah data kuantitatif yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah Statistic Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) 20. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan belajar, self-inquiry, dan minat secara langsung mempengaruhi penilaian belajar IPS, di mana self-inquiry dan minat berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penilaian belajar IPS. Lingkungan belajar fisik dan mental terbukti mempengaruhi penilaian belajar IPS. Self-inquiry yang terdiri dari pengamatan, mengajukan pertanyaan, melakukan penyelidikan, dan menarik kesimpulan, terbukti berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penilaian belajar IPS. Serta minat berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penilaian belajar IPS. Kata kunci: lingkungan belajar, self-inquiry, minat, IPS, penilaian ******** Abstract This study aims to examine the influence of the learning environment, self-inquiry, and interest in the assessment of students' social studies learning, then identify the causes and effects of each variable. The respondents involved were 130 students from public elementary schools in South Jakarta. The study uses a quantitative approach, correlational design, with path analysis techniques. Data collection in this study used an instrument in the form of a test to assess students' social studies scores; and instruments in the form of rating scales to measure students' attitudes towards the learning environment, self-inquiry, and their interests. Analysis of the data used in this study is descriptive statistics, inferential statistics, along with the test requirements for the analysis of normality and linearity. Descriptive data analysis in the form of the summation of scores from social studies learning assessment instruments, learning environments, and interests. Data analysis from the normality requirements test is presented in the form of numerical outputs and visual skewness & kurtosis z-values; Shapiro-Wilk p-value test; histograms, normal q-q plots & box plots. Data analysis with inferential statistics using correlational statistical procedures, namely path analysis. The quantitative data processing tool used in research is the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) 20. The results show that the learning environment, self-inquiry, and interest directly influence the assessment of social studies learning, where self-inquiry and interest have a significant effect on social studies learning assessment. Physical and mental learning environments have been shown to influence social studies learning assessment. Self-inquiry consisting of observation, asking questions, conducting investigations, and drawing conclusions, proved to have a significant effect on social studies learning assessment.
