Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui terdapat pengaruh keterlibatan siswa dalam ekstrakurikuler PMR terhadap jiwa sosial siswa SMP Negeri 18 Kota Bogor, tahun pelajaran 2020/2021. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII dan siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 18 Kota Bogor berjumlah 573 siswa yang masing-masing kelas VII berjumlah 289 siswa dan kelas VIII berjumlah 284 siswa. Data siswa kelas VII dan VIII SMP Negeri 18 Kota Bogor yang mengikuti ekstarkurikuler Palang Merah Remaja berjumlah 35 siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa yang mengikuti ekstarkurikuler PMR 35 siswa dan siswa yang tidak mengikuti ekstrakurikuler PMR 35 siswa. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive random sampling. Rancangan penelitian ini berupa rancangan studi perbandingan atau comparative study. Membandingkan pengaruh dari keterlibatan siswa yang mengikuti ekstrakurikuler PMR dengan siswa yang tidak mengikuti ekstrakurikuler PMR terhadap jiwa sosial siswa. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini meggunakan angket tertutup. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik kuantitatif yang terdiri dari uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan uji t diperoleh thitung sebesar 0,440 dan ttabel sebesar 0,678 sehingga thitung 0,440 < ttabel 0,678 maka disimpulkan H0 diterima dan Ha ditolak. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh keterlibatan siswa dalam ekstrakurikuler PMR terhadap jiwa sosial siswa di SMP Negeri 18 Kota Bogor. This study aims to determine the effect of student involvement in extracurricular PMR on the social spirit of students of SMP Negeri 18 Bogor City, 2020/2021 school year. The population in this study were students of class VII and class VIII of SMP Negeri 18 Bogor City totaling 573 students, each of which consisted of 289 class VII students and 284 class VIII students. The data of seventh and eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 18 Bogor City who took part in the extracurricular activities of the Youth Red Cross were 35 students. The sample in this study were students who took the extracurricular PMR 35 students and students who did not take the extracurricular PMR 35 students. Sampling using purposive random sampling technique. This research design is in the form of a comparative study design. Comparing the effect of the involvement of students who take PMR extracurricular activities with students who do not take PMR extracurricular activities on students' social psyche. Data collection in this study used a closed questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is quantitative statistical analysis consisting of normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis testing. The results of the study using the t test obtained t count of 0.440 and t table of 0.678 so that t count 0.440 <t table 0.678, it is concluded that H0 is accepted and Ha is rejected. This shows that there is no effect of student involvement in extracurricular PMR on the social spirit of students at SMP Negeri 18 Bogor City.
