Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapat interpretasi puisi Wanderers Nachtlied karya Johann Wolfgang von Goethe dengan metode Vierfarb. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dalam bidang literatur dengan menggunakan Metode Vierfarb karya Friedmann Harzer. Terdapat empat aspek untuk menganalisis puisi, yaitu : (1) aspek Sprechsituation, (2) aspek Inhalt, (3) aspek Form und Strukturen, dan (4) aspek Bildlichkeit. Aspek yang akan difokuskan pada penelitian ini yaitu (1) aspek Sprechsituation, dan (2) aspek Inhalt. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif analitis. Hasil penelitian yang didapat dari analisis puisi Wanderers Nachtlied dengan Metode Vierfarb adalah sebagai berikut : (1) dari aspek Sprechsituation ditemukan bahwa terdapat dua pelaku pada puisi, yaitu tokoh „aku“ yang menjadi pelaku utama, dan tokoh „kau“ yang menjadi pelaku kedua atau subjek yang dituju oleh pelaku utama. Selain itu ditemukan pula tindak tutur yang digambarkan oleh tokoh utama yaitu pujian, keluhan dan pengharapan. (2) dari aspek Inhalt ditemukan bahwa puisi ini diciptakan Goethe pada Periode Klasik, dengan tema kehidupan dan motif kesedihan. Dari hasil analisis puisi Wanderers Nachtlied dengan aspek Sprechsituation dan Inhalt pada metode Vierfarb, maka dapat diinterpretasi bahwa puisi ini menceritakan tentang seseorang yang merasakan kesakitan dan keputus asaan di dunia dan mengharapkan datangnya kedamaian pada dirinya. This study aims to obtain an interpretation of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe's Wanderers Nachtlied poem using the Vierfarb method. This research is a qualitative research in the field of literature using the Vierfarb method by Friedmann Harzer. There are four aspects to analyzing poetry, namely: (1) the Sprechsituation aspect, (2) the Inhalt aspect, (3) the Form und Structure aspect, and (4) the Bildlichkeit aspect. Aspects that will be focused on this research are (1) aspects of Sprechsituation, and (2) aspects of Inhalt. The method used is descriptive analytical. The research results obtained from the analysis of Wanderers Nachtlied's poetry using the Vierfarb Method are as follows: (1) from the Sprechsituation aspect, it was found that there were two actors in the poetry, namely the character "I" who became the main actor, and the character "you" who became the second actor or the subject the main actor is targeting. Apart from that, there are also speech acts described by the main character, namely praise, complaints and expectations. (2) from the aspect of Inhalt it is found that this poem was created by Goethe in the Classical Period, with the theme of life and sadness motifs. From the analysis of Wanderers Nachtlied's poetry with the Sprechsituation and Inhalt aspects of the Vierfarb method, it can be interpreted that this poem tells of someone who feels pain and despair in the world and hopes for peace to him.
