Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis aktivitas pedagang kaki lima di kedua wilayah yaitu stasiun Tanah Abang dan Palmerah Jakarta Pusat, melihat apa saja yang menjadi persamaan dan perbedaan dari masing-masing aktivitas pedagang di kedua wilayah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kota Administrasi Jakarta Pusat pada bulan November hingga Januari 2020. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif pendekatan survey. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan observasi dan wawancara mendalam. Metode pengambilan informan yang digunakan adalah dengan melihat kriteria masing-masing yang dimiliki oleh pedagang kaki lima di Stasiun Tanah Abang dan Stasiun Palmerah Jakarta Pusat, Masing – masing wilayah menggunakan tujuh informan yaitu empat informan kunci dan tiga informan pendukung. Pada Informan kunci peneliti memilih kriteria berdasarkan waktu lamanya pedagang yang berjualan di wilayah stasiun. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa adanya perbedaan dan persamaan terhadap analisis aktivitas dimasing-masing stasiun, Stasiun Tanah abang memiliki waktu mengawali aktivitas berdagang mulai dari pukul 05.00 sampai 23.00 WIB, pada hari kerja dan hari libur memiliki waktu berjualan yang sama, mekanisme berdagang dilakukan secara sift bergantian, sifat pelayanan yang static dan menetap. Stasiun Palmerah memiliki waktu berdagang mulai dari pukul 11.00 sampai 20.00 WIB lebih memilih berjualan pada hari kerja, mekanisme berdagang tidak ada sift atau bergantian, dan sifat pelayanan yang semi static atau semi menetap. Pemilihan Jarak dan lokasi dengan keramaian aktivitas masyarakat menjadi alsan utama untuk mereka bejualan di wilayah tersebut, dekat dengan pusat perkantoran, pemukiman perdagangan. This study aims to analyze the activity of street vendors in the two regions, namely Tanah Abang and Palmerah stations, Central Jakarta, to see what are the similarities and differences of each merchant activity in the two regions. This research was conducted in the Central Jakarta Administrative City from November to January 2020. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative survey approach. Data collection techniques used observation and in-depth interviews. The informant retrieval method used is to look at the respective criteria owned by street vendors at Tanah Abang Station and Palmerah Station, Central Jakarta. Each region uses seven informants, namely four key informants and three supporting informants. For the key informants, the researcher chooses criteria based on the length of time the traders sell in the station area. Based on the results of the research shows that there are differences and similarities to the analysis of activities at each station, Tanah Abang Station has time to start trading activities from 05.00 to 23.00 WIB, on weekdays and holidays have the same selling time, the trading mechanism is shifted alternately, the static and permanent nature of service. Palmerah Station has trading hours starting from 11.00 to 20.00 WIB, preferring to sell on weekdays, trading mechanisms are not shifts or alternating, and the nature of the service is semi-static or semi-permanent. Selection of distance and location with the hustle and bustle of community activities is the main reason for them to sell in the area, close to office centers, commercial settlements.
