Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kohesivitas kelompok terhadap organizational citizenship behavior pada pengurus organisasi mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Alat ukur yang digunakan untuk mengukur kohesivitas kelompok adalah Group Environment Quetionnaire (GEQ by Carron 1985). Organizational citizenship behavior diukur dengan menggunakan instrument organizational citizenship behavior yang dikembangkan oleh Podskaff et,al (2006). Hasil penelitian dari 148 responden penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kohesivitas kelompok dan organizational citizenship behavior pada pengurus organisasi mahasiswa tergolong tinggi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan nilai signifikansi (p) sebesar 0,000 (p < 0,05). Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis penelitian ini diterima yaitu terdapat pengaruh antara kohesivitas kelompok terhadap organizational citizenship behavior pada pengurus organisasi mahasiswa. Pengaruh yang diberikan adalah sebesar 29,4% dan sisanya dipengaruhi variabel lain selain kohesivitas kelompok. The study aims to determine the effect of group cohesion on organizational citizenship behavior in the administrator of student organization. This research is using quantitative methods. Group cohesion was measured by Group Environment Quetionnaire (GEQ by Carron 1985). Organizational citizenship behavior was measured by organizational citizenship behavior scale by Podskaff et,al (2006). The result from 148 respondents showed that the level of group cohesion and organizational citizenship behavior among the administrator of student organization was classified in the high category. The analysis results showed that the significance (p) of 0,000 (p < 0,05). Based on these results, it can be conclude that the hypothesis of this study has been accepted, which stated that there is an effect of group cohesion on organizational citizenship behavior in the administrator of student organization. The effect which given by group cohesion on organizational citizenship behavior was 29,4% and the rest was affected by other variables besides group cohesion.
