Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: 1) motivasi belajar siswa afirmasi, 2) motivasi belajar siswa reguler, 3) perbedaan motivasi belajar antara siswa afirmasi dan siswa reguler. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode komparatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah Proportional Stratified Random Sampling dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 273 siswa, responden terdiri dari 36 siswa afirmasi di kelas X dan 29 siswa di kelas XI, serta siswa reguler berjumlah 102 siswa dikelas X dan 106 siswa di kelas XI. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan menggunakan angket motivasi belajar yang dikembangkan berdasarkan teori kontemporer motivasi belajar yang bernama goals orientation theory. Analisis uji validitas instrumen menggunakan Product Moment Pearson dengan bantuan software IBM Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) versi 26.0 hingga diperoleh hasil 36 butir item valid dan 4 butir item tidak valid. Uji reliabilitas dengan menggunakan bantuan software IBM Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) versi 26.0 hingga diperoleh koefisien sebesar 0.89 yang berarti bahwa instrumen memiliki reliabilitas sangat tinggi dan layak digunakan sebagai instrumen penelitian. Teknik analisis data untuk memperoleh gambaran perbedaan motivasi belajar siswa afirmasi dan siswa reguler di SMAN 14 Jakarta menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan statiska inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) tingkat motivasi belajar siswa SMAN 14 Jakarta berada pada kategori tinggi dengan rata-rata skor keseluruhan sebesar 99.26 dan berdasarkan data perkategori, tingkat motivasi belajar siswa terbanyak berada pada kategori sedang, 2) tingkat motivasi belajar siswa afirmasi di SMAN 14 Jakarta berada pada kategori sedang dengan rata-rata skor keseluruhan sebesar 97.94 dan berdasarkan data perkategori, tingkat motivasi belajar siswa afirmasi terbanyak berada pada kategori sedang, 3) tingkat motivasi belajar siswa reguler di SMAN 14 Jakarta berada pada kategori tinggi dengan rata-rata skor keseluruhan sebesar 99.67 dan berdasarkan data perkategori, tingkat motivasi belajar siswa reguler terbanyak berada pada kategori sedang, 4) tidak terdapat perbedaan motivasi belajar antara siswa afirmasi dan siswa reguler di SMAN 14 Jakarta. Kriteria uji tolak H0 jika p-value < α, dimana α=5% atau 0,05, karena p-value adalah 0.971 dan lebih besar dari 0,05, maka H0 diterima. Artinya, tidak terdapat perbedaan motivasi belajar antara siswa afirmasi dan siswa reguler di SMAN 14 Jakarta. Kata kunci: motivasi belajar, siswa afirmasi, dan siswa reguler The purpose of this study was to determine: 1) affirmative student learning motivation, 2) learning motivation of regular students, 3) differences in learning motivation between affirmative students and regular students. The method used is a comparative method with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique used was proportional stratified random sampling with a total of 273 students, respondents consisted of 36 affirmation students in class X and 29 students in class XI, and regular students totaling 102 students in class X and 106 students in class XI. The data collection was conducted using a learning motivation questionnaire which was developed based on a contemporary theory of learning motivation called the goals orientation theory. Analysis of the validity of the instrument used Pearson's Product Moment with the help of the IBM Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) software version 26.0 to obtain 36 valid items and 4 invalid items. The reliability test used the IBM Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) software version 26.0 to obtain a coefficient of 0.89, which means that the instrument has very high reliability and is suitable for use as a research instrument. Data analysis techniques to obtain an overview of the differences in learning motivation of affirmative students and regular students at SMAN 14 Jakarta used descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results showed that: 1) the level of learning motivation of students of SMAN 14 Jakarta was in the high category with an average overall score of 99.26 and based on caregorical data, the level of student motivation was mostly in the medium category, 2) the level of learning motivation of affirmative students at SMAN 14 Jakarta is in the medium category with an average overall score of 97.94 and based on caregorical data, the level of motivation for learning the most affirmation students is in the medium category, 3) the level of learning motivation for regular students at SMAN 14 Jakarta is in the high category with an average score a total of 99.67 and based on caregorical data, the level of learning motivation of regular students is mostly in the medium category, 4) there is no difference in learning motivation between affirmative students and regular students at SMAN 14 Jakarta. The criteria for the reject test H0 if the p-value<α,α = 5% or 0.05, because the p-value is 0.971 and greater than 0.05, then H0 is accepted. This means that there is no difference in learning motivation between affirmation students and regular students at SMAN 14 Jakarta.
