Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sebuah produk video motion graphics dengan materi Unsur-Unsur Desain Visual. Video Motion Graphics yang dikembangkan ini dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber belajar bagi mahasiswa Teknologi Pendidikan. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model pengembangan Rapid Prototyping. Model ini terdiri dari lima tahapan yaitu, Assess Needs & Analyze Content, Set Objectives, Construct Prototype (Design), Utilize Prototype (Research), Install & Maintain System. Pengembangan ini telah melalui uji evaluasi yang dilakukan oleh expert review dan pengguna yang merupakan mahasiswa Teknologi Pendidikan Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Dari uji evaluasi memperoleh nilai dari para expert review sebagai berikut : dari ahli media sebesar 2,14 yang dikategorikan Cukup Baik, dari ahli materi memperoleh nilai 2 yang dikategorikan Cukup Baik, dan dari ahli desain pembelajaran memperoleh nilai 3,05 yang dikategorikan Baik. Hasil uji coba pengguna (one to one) memperoleh nilai 2,92 yang dikategorikan Baik. Berdasarkan hasil nilai yang diperoleh, maka produk video motion graphics yang telah dikembangkan memperoleh nilai dengan kategori Baik. This development research aims to produce a video motion graphics product with Visual Design Elements material. The Video Motion Graphics developed can be used as a learning resource for Educational Technology students. This development research uses the Rapid Prototyping development model. This model consists of five stages, namely, Assess Needs & Analyze Content, Set Objectives, Construct Prototype (Design), Utilize Prototype (Research), Install & Maintain System. This development has gone through an evaluation test conducted by expert reviews and users who are students of Jakarta State University Educational Technology. From the evaluation test, the scores from the expert reviews were as follows: from the media expert it was 2.14 which was categorized as Good Enough, from the material expert it got a score of 2 which was categorized as Good Enough, and from the learning design expert it got a score of 3.05 which was categorized as Good. The results of the user trial (one to one) obtained a value of 2.92 which is categorized as Good. Based on the results obtained, the video motion graphics products that have been developed get a score in the Good category.
