Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara online disinhibition effect dan cyber-aggression pada mahasiswa pengguna media sosial di Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 210 mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Jakarta yang aktif menggunakan media sosial selama minimal tiga bulan. Hasil Pearson Product Moment menunjukkan nilai koefisien r = 0,223 dan signifikansi ρ = 0,01 < 0,05. Dari hasil tersebut dapat diketahui bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara online disinhibiton effect dan cyber-aggression pada mahasiswa pengguna media sosial di Universitas Negeri Jakarta. ******************* This study aims to determine the relationship between online disinhibition effect and cyber-aggression among students who have used social media at the State University of Jakarta. This research is a quantitative study with 210 respondents from the State University of Jakarta who have actively used social media for a minimum of three months. Pearson Product Moment results show the coefficient r = 0.223 and the significance ρ = 0.01 <0.05. From these results we can concur that there is a positive relationship between online disinhibiton effect and cyber-aggression among students who have used social media at the State University of Jakarta.
