Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya hubungan antara kepuasan kerja dengan komitmen organisasi guru SMP Negeri di Kelurahan Jagakarsa Jakarta Selatan. Variabel yang diteliti adalah kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel bebas (variabel X) dan komitmen organisasi sebagai variabel terikat (variabel Y). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dan studi korelasional. Pengumpulan data untuk variabel kepuasan kerja dan komitmen organisasi menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis adalah korelasi Product Moment dari Karl Pearson, dengan terlebih dahulu dilakukan uji persyarat yang meliputi uji normalitas dan uji linieritas. Dari hasil hipotesis diperoleh thitung sebesar = 9,525 yang berarti lebih besar dari ttabel sebesar = 1,993. Dari koefisien determinasi, kepuasan kerja memberikan kontribusi sebesar 55,75% terhadap komitmen organisasi guru. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif antara kepuasan kerja dengan komitmen organisasi guru SMP Negeri di Kelurahan Jagakarsa Jakarta Selatan. Berdasarkan kesimpulan tersebut dapat dikatakan bahwa semakin tinggi kepuasan kerja, maka semakin tinggi pula komitmen organisasi pada guru. Kata Kunci: Kepuasan Kerja, Komitmen Organisasi | ABSTRACT This study aims to determine whether or not if there is a relationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment of Junior High School teacher at Kelurahan Jagakarsa South Jakarta. The variables that studied were job satisfaction as the independent variable (variable X) and organizational commitment as the dependent variable (variable Y). The study method used is a quantitive approach and correlational studies. Data collection for interpersonal communication and quality of life variables using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used to test the hypothesis is Product Moment correlation by Karl Pearson, with a first test of the requirements that include the normality test and linearity test. From the results of the hypothesis obtained tcount = 9,525 which means greater than ttable = 1.993. From the coefficient of determination, job satisfaction contributes 55,75% to teacher’s organizational commitment. The results of this study can be concluded that there is a positive relationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment of Junior High School teacher at Kelurahan Jagakarsa South Jakarta. Based on these conclusions, the higher the level of job satisfaction the higher the level of organizational commitment that teachers have. Keywords: Job Satisfaction, Organizational Commitment
