Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan kajian pustaka yang bertujuan untuk mengkaji penggunaan metode value clarification technique dalam meningkatkan sikap demokratis siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan November 2019 - Agustus 2020. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan model analisis Miles and Humbermen. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan mengkaji sumber pustaka yang sesuai dengan masalah peneliti. Terdapat tiga tahapan yang dilakukan dalam kajian pustaka ini yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan metode pembelajaran value clarification technique dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif metode dalam meningkatkan sikap demokratis siswa. Berdasarkan tujuan Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan yang tertulis di Permendiknas No 22 Tahun 2006, salah satunya peserta didik diharapkan mampu berkembang secara positif dan demokratis. Pendidik harus memiliki kemampuan menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang menarik, sehingga tujuan pembelajaran mudah tercapai. Salah satunya adalah dengan cara menentukan metode, pendekatan, dan memilih model pembelajaran yang sesuai. Berdasarkan hasil analisis maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan metode pembelajaran value clarification technique cocok digunakan sebagai alternative dalam meningkatkan sikap demokratis siswa. Metode ini direkomendasikan kepada seluruh pendidik agar memahami konsep metode VCT guna meningkatkan sikap demokratis siswa. This literature study research review that aims to examine the use of the value clarification technique method in improving students' democratic attitudes. This research was conducted in November 2019 - August 2020. The research method used was a qualitative descriptive research method with the Miles and Humbermen analysis model. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and reviewing literature sources that match the researcher's problem. There are three stages in this literature review, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the value clarification technique learning method could be used as an alternative method in improving students' democratic attitudes. Based on the objectives of Citizenship Education written in Permendiknas No. 22 of 2006, one of which is that students are expected to be able to develop positively and democratically. Educators must have the ability to create an attractive learning atmosphere, so that learning objectives are easily achieved. One of them is by determining methods, approaches, and selecting the appropriate learning model. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the use of the value clarification technique learning method is suitable as an alternative in improving students' democratic attitudes. This method is recommended to all educators to understand the concept of the VCT method in order to improve students' democratic attitudes.
