Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMK Garuda Jakarta pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2020/2021, dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh penggunaan aplikasi Arabic Words Quiz terhadap penguasaan kosakata Bahasa Arab bagi siswa kelas 10 SMK Garuda Jakarta. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen. Populasinya adalah seluruh siswa kelas 10 dan sampelnya adalah seluruh siswa kelas 10 Akuntansi dan Pemasaran, yang terdiri dari 19 siswa kelas eksperimen dan 21 siswa kelas kontrol. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara Sampling Purposive. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes akhir yang berjumlah 20 soal, yang terdiri dari 10 soal pilihan ganda dan 10 soal isian, dengan teknis analisis data menggunakan Uji-t pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05. Uji-t dilakukan setelah melakukan uji normalitas dan homogenitas. Setelah dilakukan Uji Normalitas dengan hasil normal, Uji Homogenitas dengan data yang homogen, dan uji hipotesis dengan Uji-t maka nilai thitung yang diperoleh sebesar 2,011 sedangkan harga ttabel pada taraf signifikan α= 0,05 dan derajat kebebasan (n-2) = 38 adalah sebesar 1,697. Maka, nilai thitung > ttabel. Dengan demikian hipotesis (H0) yang menyatakan tidak ada pengaruh penggunaan aplikasi Arabic Words Quiz terhadap penguasaan kosakata Bahasa Arab bagi siswa kelas 10 SMK Garuda Jakarta ditolak. Sedangkan hipotesis (H1) yang menyatakan ada pengaruh penggunaan aplikasi Arabic Words Quiz terhadap penguasaan kosakata Bahasa Arab bagi siswa kelas 10 SMK Garuda Jakarta diterima. Maka penggunaan aplikasi Arabic Words Quiz pada pengajaran Bahasa Arab dapat meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata Bahasa Arab siswa. Oleh karena itu, pengajaran kosakata Bahasa Arab dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran aplikasi Arabic Words Quiz lebih baik dibandingkan dengan menggunaan media pembelajaran konvensional. Kata kunci: Media pembelajaran; Kokakata Bahasa Arab; Android; Arabic Words Quiz This research was conducted at SMK Garuda Jakarta in the even semester of the 2020/2021 academic year, with the aim of finding out how the influence of the use of the Arabic Words Quiz application on Arabic vocabulary mastery for 10th grade students of SMK Garuda Jakarta. The method used in this research is the experimental method. The population was all 10th grade students and the sample was all 10th grade students of Accounting and Marketing, which consisted of 19 students in the experimental class and 21 students in the control class. Sampling was done by means of purposive sampling. The instrument used was the final test with a total of 20 questions, consisting of 10 multiple choice questions and 10 questions to be filled out, with the technical analysis of the data using the t-test at a significant level of α = 0.05. The t-test is performed after performing the normality and homogeneity tests. After doing the Normality Test with normal results, Homogeneity Test with homogeneous data, and hypothesis testing with the t-test, the t-test value obtained is 2.011 while the t-table price is at the significant level α = 0.05 and degrees of freedom (n-2) = 38 amounted to 1.697. So, the value of tcount> ttable. Thus the hypothesis (H0) which states there is no effect of using the Arabic Words Quiz application on Arabic vocabulary mastery for 10th grade students of SMK Garuda Jakarta is rejected. While the hypothesis (H1) which states that there is an effect of using the Arabic Words Quiz application on the mastery of Arabic vocabulary for 10th grade students of SMK Garuda Jakarta is accepted. So the use of the Arabic Words Quiz application in teaching Arabic can improve students' mastery of Arabic vocabulary. Therefore, teaching Arabic vocabulary using the Arabic Words Quiz application learning media is better than using conventional learning media.
