Abstract
Nur Fatimah,Peningkatan Keterampilan Menulis Arab Dengan Media Pembelajaran Word Square Pada Siswa Kelas VII di MTs Al-Wathoniyah 5 Jakarta Timur. Skripsi. Jakarta : Pendidikan Bahasa Arab. Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni. Universitas Negeri Jakarta, Januari 2021 Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di MTs Al-Wathoniyah 5 Jakarta Timur pada bulan Januari-Februari 2020, dan pada bulan maret-desember 2020 peneliti melakukan olah data terhadap hasil penelitian yang sudah dilakukan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan menulis Arab siswa kelas di MTs Al-Wathoniyah 5 Jakarta Timur Media Word Square. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan model siklus Kemmis dan Taggart. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan melalui empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah siswa kelas VII MTs Al-Wathoniyah 5 Jakarta Timur yang berjumlah 19 siswa, terdiri dari 8 siswa laki-laki dan 11 siswa perempuan. Pengukuran peningkatan keterampilan menulis Arab siswa dilaksanakan diawal dan akhir kegiatan penelitian dengan memberikan pretest, siklus pertama dan siklus kedua. Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal, keterampilan menulis siswa kelas VII MTs Al-Wathoniyah 5 Jakarta Timur belum mencapai KKM yang ditentukan yaitu 72. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini menggunakan media pembelajaran word square yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis arab siswa kelas VII MTs Al-Wathoniyah 5 Jakarta Timur. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data yang bersifat kualitatif dianalisis dengan deskriptif kualitatif dan data yang bersifat angka dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh, pada pretest hanya 3 siswa (15,78%) yang berhasil mendapatkan nilai melebihi KKM (72) dan nilai rata-rata keterampilan menulis arab adalah 65,47. Pada siklus pertama 14 siswa (73,68%) yang berhasil mendapatkan nilai melebihi KKM dan nilai rata-rata keterampilan menulis arab adalah 76,31. Dan pada siklus kedua 18 siswa (94,73%) yang berhasil mendapatkan nilai melebihi KKM dan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar bahasa Arab meningkat menjadi 89,36. Sehingga peningkatan nilai rata-rata antara pretest dan siklus satu adalah 10,84 dan peningkatan nilai rata-rata pada siklus pertama dan siklus kedua adalah 13,05. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media word square yang diterapkan dalam belajar menulis Arab berpengaruh dalam peningkatan keterampilan menulis siswa. Implikasi hasil penelitian diatas diketahui bahwa media word square mempunyai dampak untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis Arab siswa-siswi kelas VII MTs Al-Wathoniyah 5 Jakarta Timur. Dengan demikian, media word square ini dapat digunakan sebagai metode pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis Arab, sehingga siswa-siswi termotivasi dan lebih mudah dalam belajar menulis Arab. This research was conducted at Islamic Junior High School Al-Wathoniyah 5 East Jakartain January-February 2020, and in March-December 2020 the researchers processed the data on the results of the research that had been carried out. The purpose of this research is to know the improvement of Arabic learning result of VII students of Junior High School Al-Wathoniyah 5 East Jakarta with word square method. The research method used is classroom action research.Classrom action research is conducted using the Kemmis and Taggart cycle model. This classroom action research is conducted through four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this class action research were the students of class VII students of Junior High School Al-Wathoniyah 5 East Jakarta which amounted to 19 students, consist of 8 male students and 11 female students. Measurements of students’ learning achievment in Arabic are carried out at the beginning and end of research by providing pretest, first cycle and second cycle. Based on the results of preliminary observations, the writing skills of class VII students of Junior High School Al-Wathoniyah 5 Jakarta Timur have not yet reached the specified KKM, which is 72. This classroom action research uses word square learning media which is expected to improve the Arabic writing skills of class VII students of Junior High School Al-Wathoniyah 5 East Jakarta. The data collection techniques in this study used tests, observation, and documentation. Qualitative data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive and numerical data were analyzed using quantitative analysis. Based on the result of the research, in pretest, only 3 students (15,78%) succeed to get value exceeds KKM (72) and the mean value of Arab learning result is 65,47. In the first cycle 14 students (73.68%) who managed to get the value exceeds the KKM and the average value of learning Arabic is 76.31. And in the second cycle 18 students (94.73%) who managed to get the value exceeds the KKM and the average value of learning Arabic increased to 89.36. So the average value increase between pretest and cycle one is 10.84 and the average value increase in the first cycle and the second cycle is 13.05. The results of this study indicate that the strategy of word square applied in learning writing Arabic influent in improving student writing outcomes. The implications of the above research are known that the word square method has an impact to improve skill writing Arabic students of VII Junior High School Al-Wathoniyah 5 East Jakarta. Then, this word square method can be used as a learning method to improve skill writing Arabic outcomes, so that students are motivated and easier in learning writing Arabic.
