Abstract

Penelitian ini memilikii.tujuan mendesain instrumen. penilaian kemampuan .berpikir kritis, mendapatkan hasil instrument. penilaian kemampuan berpikir.kritis yang valid. dan realibel. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development, menggunakan metode. pengembangan 4D yaitu 1) observasi dan studi literatur, 2)Uji validasi ahli materi, 3) uji coba kepada siswa, 4) produk siap digunakan. Hasil Penelitian ini memperoleh. hasil bahwa jenis .instrumen penelitian. yang dikembangkan layak. digunakan dengan indikator analisis, interpretation,. inference, evaluasi, explanation,. induction, Decuction. Instrumen penilaian yang yang dikembangkan adalah PG (Pilihan Ganda). Uji Kesukaran mendapatkan hasil bahwa dari 40 soal yang dibuat memiliki tingkat kesukaran 0,27 sampai 0,44 yaitu berada pada kriteria sukar dan sedang, pada uji mendapatkan hasil 5 soal dinyatakan baik, 17 soal nyatakan cukup, dan 18 soal dikatakan jelek. Instrumen penilaian kemampuan berpikir kritis pada mata pelajaran pekerjaan dasar teknik mesin dinyatakan valid 30 soal dari 40 soal yang dibuat dan nilai realibilitas 0,82 maka dinyatakan realibel. Kesimpulan instrumen penilaian kemampuan berpikir kritis pada mata kuliah pekerjaan dasar Teknik layak digunakan. This study has the aim of designing an instrument for assessing critical thinking skills, obtaining a valid and reliable assessment of critical thinking skills. The research method used is Research and Development, using the 4D development method, namely 1) observation and literature study, 2) expert validation test, 3) testing on students, 4) ready-to-use products. The results of this study indicate that the type of research instrument being developed is suitable for use with indicator analysis, interpretation, inference, evaluation, explanation, induction, and decuction. The assessment instrument developed was PG (Multiple Choice). Thedifficulty test shows that of the 40 questions made have a difficulty levelof 0.27 to 0.44, which is in the difficult and moderate criteria, on the test results 5 questions are declared good, 17 questions are stated as sufficient, and 18 questions are said to be bad. The instrument for assessing critical thinking skills in basicmechanical engineering subjects was stated as valid 30 questions out of 40 questions made and a reliability value of 0,82 then declared as realistic. Conclusion, the instrument for assessing critical thinking skills in the basic engineering work course isfeasible.
