Abstract

Yasa Tayasara. 2021. “Representasi Emotional Loneliness pada Karya Seni Kontemporer”. Laporan Penciptaan Karya Seni Rupa, Jurusan Pendidikan Seni Rupa, Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Setiap orang pasti akan mengalami kehilangan, kehilangan anggota keluarga, teman, kehilangan barang, bahkan kehilangan pekerjaan. Tidak jarang rasa kehilangan menyebabkan kesedihan yang membuat sebuah perubahan dalam kehidupan, baik sedikit perubahan, maupun perubahan secara total. Kesedihan, kekecewaan, dan juga kesepian akan selalu bisa dirasakan oleh setiap orang walaupun kejadian tersebut sudah terlewati beberapa tahun setelahnya, tentunya dengan durasi yang berbeda-berda pada setiap orang. Peristiwa kehilangan menimbulkan kesedihan dan juga kesepian (loneliness), yang menjelaskan bahwa kesepian merupakan suatu perasaan yang tidak menyenangkan disebabkan adanya ketidaksesuaian antara hubungan sosial yang diharapkan dengan realisasi kenyataan dalam kehidupan akibat terhambat atau berkurangnya hubungan sosial yang dimiliki seseorang, dan pengalaman subjektif yang tidak menyenangkan karena seseorang mengalami penurunan hubungan sosial baik secara kualitas dan kuantitas. Penciptaan karya tugas akhir ini menjelaskan perasaan kesepian emosional (emotional loneliness) melalui karya seni kontemporer dengan menggunakan interes bentuk figuratif, interes seni reflektif, dan interes estetika kontemporer yang enghasilkan karya dengan perwujudan karya seni kontemporer yang mewakili dan membantu seniman untuk mengekspresikan makna dan juga konsep yang ada. Report on the Creation of Fine Art, Department of Fine Arts Education, Faculty of Language and Art, Jakarta State University. Everyone will experience loss, loss of family members, friends, things, and even job losses. It is a common feelings of loss that cause sadness which makes a change in life, either a slight change or a total change. Everyone can feel sadness, disappointment, and also loneliness even though the incident has passed several years after, of course with a different duration for each person. The loss causes sadness and loneliness, which explains that loneliness is an unpleasant feeling due to a mismatch between the expected social relationship and the realization of reality in life due to obstruction or reduced social relationships that a person has, and unpleasant subjective experiences because someone has decreased social relations both in quality and quantity. The creation of this final project describes feelings of emotional loneliness through contemporary art works using figurative forms of interest, reflective artistic interests, and contemporary aesthetic interests that producing works of contemporary art that represent and help artists to express existing meanings and concepts.
