Abstract

ABSTRAK Ikrimah Rahmadini, 2525160290, 2021. Meningkatkan Keterampilan Menari Tari Nandak Ganjen Melalui Model Pembelajaran Langsung (Explicit Instruction) (Penelitian Tindakan Pada Siswa Tingkat Madya Di Sanggar Tari Anyelir Jakarta Selatan). Skripsi, Pendidikan Tari, Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Penelitian bertujuan memperoleh data proses penerapan model pembelajaran langsung (Explicit Instruction) dalam pelatihan Tari Nandak Ganjen di Sanggar Anyelir dan mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan menari Tari Nandak Ganjen siswa tingkat madya di Sanggar Anyelir, melalui penerapan model pembelajaran langsung (Explicit Instruction). Manfaat dari penelitian ini, diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi bagi mahasiswa atau guru, yang ingin melakukan penelitian dengan menggunakan hasil temuan di lapangan tentang meningkatkan keterampilan menari siswa melalui model pembelajaran langsung (Explicit Instruction). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dari Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart dengan penerapan model pembelajaran langsung (Explicit Instruction). Penelitian ini menggunakan dua siklus, setiap siklus terdapat tahapan perencanaan (Planning), tindakan (Action) dan pengamatan (Observing), serta refleksi (Reflecting). Penelitian berlangsung dari bulan Juli sampai September 2020 di Sanggar Anyelir, Srengseng Sawah, Jakarta Selatan, melalui pembelajaran langsung (tatap muka). Penelitian ini dapat terlaksana, karena pada saat penelitian telah diberlakukan masa era New Normal atau masa transisi dari pembatasan berskala besar menuju kondisi normal di tengah pandemi Covid-19 oleh pemerintah. Hasil data peningkatan keterampilan menari Tari Nandak Ganjen siswa dan temuan penelitian, diperoleh dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa hasil observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan tes unjuk kerja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran langsung (Explicit Instruction) dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menari Tari Nandak Ganjen siswa tingkat madya berdasarkan hasil pada pra siklus 37,4%, siklus I meningkat 63,9%, dan siklus II menjadi 73,9%. The research aims to obtain data on the process of applying the direct learning model (Explicit Instruction) in the Nandak Ganjen Dance training at the Anyelir Studio and to determine the improvement of the Nandak Ganjen dance skills of middle-level students at Anyelir Studio, through the application of the direct learning model (Explicit Instruction). The benefits of this research are expected to provide information for students or teachers who want to conduct research using the findings in the field about improving students' dancing skills through direct learning models (Explicit Instruction). This study uses a classroom action research method (PTK) from Kemmis and Mc. Taggart with the application of the direct learning model (Explicit Instruction). This research uses two cycles, each cycle there are stages of planning (Planning), action (Action) and observation (Observing), and reflection (Reflecting). The research took place from July to September 2020 at the Anyelir Studio, Srengseng Sawah, South Jakarta, through direct learning (face to face). This research can be carried out, because at the time of the research, the New Normal era or a transition period from large-scale restrictions to normal conditions in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic by the government had been implemented. The results of the data on the improvement of students' Nandak Ganjen dance skills and research findings, were obtained by collecting data in the form of observations, interviews, documentation, and performance tests. The results showed that the application of the direct learning model (Explicit Instruction) can improve the dancing skills of the Nandak Ganjen dance for intermediate level students based on the results of the pre-cycle 37.4%, the first cycle increased 63.9%, and the second cycle became 73.9%.
