Abstract

Pendidikan karakter telah menjadi perhatian utama dalam sistem pendidikan nasional Indonesia karena diharapkan dapat berperan penting dalam mengatasi masalah-masalah sistem pendidikan. Pendidikan karakter seharusnya disikapi oleh pemangku kepentingan pendidikan dengan berbagai cara seperti melalui dokumen akademik seperti kurikulum, silabus, dan RPP. Banyak peneliti membahas nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang terungkap dalam rencana pelajaran guru Bahasa Inggris. Namun, mereka belum membahas nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang terungkap dalam RPP guru siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dalam RPP guru siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis isi. Lima RPP yang dirancang oleh 15 guru siswa dianalisis berdasarkan nilai pendidikan karakter yang diusulkan oleh Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada 5 nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang terungkap dalam 5 RPP guru siswa yaitu keagamaan, kerja keras, bertanggung jawab, bekerja sama, dan komunikatif. Nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang paling sering adalah komunikatif, sedangkan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang paling jarang adalah keagamaan. Kata kunci: Nilai-Nilai Pendidikan Karakter, Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran, Analisis Isi Character building has become a major concern in the Indonesian national educational system because it is expected to play an important role in addressing the issues of the educational system. Character building should be addressed by the education stakeholders in various ways such as via academic documents such as curriculum, syllabus, and lesson plan. Many researchers addressed character building values that revealed in EFL teacher’s lesson plans. However, they have not addressed character building values that are revealed in student teacher’s lesson plans. This study aims to investigate character building values in student teacher’s lesson plans. This study uses content analysis. Five lesson plans designed by 15 student teachers are analyzed based on character building values by the Ministry of Education and Culture. The findings show that 5 character building values is revealed in 5 student teacher’s lesson plans such as religious, hard work, responsible, collaborative, and communicative. The most frequent character building values is communicative, while the less frequent character building values is religious. Keywords: Character Building Values, Lesson Plan, Content Analysis
