Abstract

Febriyanti Debora Margaretta. Motif Geometris Tenun NTT Daerah Amanuban, Amanatun, dan Mollo Pada Sarung Bantal Sofa Teknik Crochet. Prodi Pendidikan Seni Rupa, Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni, Universitas Negeri Jakarta Semua produk yang tidak dihasilkan mesin era teknologi, memiliki nilai lebih tinggi dibanding menggunakan mesin, dan memiliki kepuasan. NTT dikenal memiliki kain tenun, khususnya Amanatun, Amanuban, dan Mollo yang memiliki corak motif unik, indah, dan khas. Motif geometris tenun NTT dari daerah tersebut disederhanakan, tidak diubah bentuknya. Lalu diaplikasikan ke sarung bantal sofa teknik crochet, karya kriya ini belum pernah ada di pasar. Guna mengenalkan dan mengkomunikasikan makna tenun tersebut kepada masyarakat. Warna motif di eksplorasi sesuai dengan trend Forecasting 2020, warna Svarga agar modern dan kekinian. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan melakukan uji coba eksplorasi sebelumnya terhadap motif, teknik, warna, dan material. Jenis riset penelitian dan penciptaan ini menggunakan research-led practice, yaitu penelitian menjadi dasar dalam praktik. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari berbagai narasumber, sumber tertulis dan foto guna memperoleh data yang diperlukan. Perupa menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, kuesioner, studi pustaka, dan pendokumentasian. Motif di uji melalui media sosial, dari hasil yang didapat masyarakat yang mengenal motif asli NTT dapat lebih mengenal lagi. Dari hasil eksplorasi sebelumnya, benang katun bali kecil cocok sebagai bahan pembuat sarung bantal sofa teknik crochet. Benang tersebut halus, ringan, kuat, dan tidak terlalu mahal. Karya ini adalah karya Kriya crochet sehingga tidak mudah dalam proses pembuatannya, lama, memerlukan banyak sekali benang, terutama bila menggunakan warna yang berbeda. Namun hasil yang didapat unik, tekstur menarik, serta mengajarkan kesabaran. Bagian belakang menggunakan teknik crochet (C2C) corner two corner untuk hasil lebih cepat. Bagian motif menggunakan teknik tapestri crochet karena mampu membuat detail-detail. All products that are not produced by technological era machines, have a higher value than using machines, and have satisfaction. NTT is known to have woven fabrics, especially Amanatun, Amanuban, and Mollo which have unique, beautiful, and distinctive motifs.The geometric motifs of NTT woven fabrics from this area are simplified, not changed in shape. Then applied to the sofa cushion cover crochet technique, this craft work has never been on the market. In order to introduce and communicate the meaning of theweaving to the public. The colors of the motifs are explored according to the Forecasting 2020 trend, Svarga colors to be modern and up to date. This research method uses qualitative methods by conducting previous exploration trials of motifs, techniques,colors, and materials. This type of research research and creation uses research-led practice, where research becomes the basis for practice. Sources of data in this study were obtained from various sources, written sources and photos in order to obtain the necessary data. The artist uses data collection techniques through observation, interviews, questionnaires, literature study, and documentation. Motives were tested through social media, from the results obtained by people who know the original NTT motives can get to know more. From the results of previous exploration, small Balinese cotton yarn is suitable as a material for making sofa pillowcases in crochet techniques. The thread is smooth, light, strong and not very expensive. This work is a work of crochet crafts so it is not easy in the manufacturing process, it takes a long time, requires a lot of thread, especially when using different colors. But the results obtained are unique, attractive texture, and teach patience. The back uses the corner two corner crochet (C2C) technique for faster results. The motif part uses the crochet tapestry technique because it is able to make details
