Abstract
ABSTRAK Samuel Sipahutar, 2021. “Strategi Pembelajaran pada Mata Kuliah Pengantar Flute di Prodi Pendidikan Musik Universitas Negeri Jakarta” Program Studi Pendidikan Musik, Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Prodi Pendidikan Musik UNJ menyelenggarakan mata kuliah Pengantar Flute pada semester 2 dengan bobot 2 sks, dan menjadi mata kuliah wajib bagi mahasiswa yang akan memilih instrumen mayor flute. Pembelajaran pada mata kuliah pengantar flute merupakan bekal awal yang sangat penting sebagai peletak dasar atau pondasi dalam bermain flute yang harus dimiliki oleh pemain flute. Hal ini yang menjadi topik dalam penelitian ini, khususnya bagaimana penerapan strategi pembelajaran dosen flute dalam mata kuliah tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan data yang detail tentang pembelajaran pada mata kuliah pengantar flute, khususnya penerapan teknik-teknik dasar dalam bermain flute. Objek penelitian ini adalah mata kuliah Pengantar Flute. Penelitian dilakukan selama 6 bulan di saat pandemi covid-19. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Kualitatif Deskriptif dengan pendekatan Studi Pustaka. Data dikumpulkan melalui kajian Pustaka dari berbagai sumber dokumen seperti jurnal, buku, artikel dan perangkat pembelajaran dalam mata kuliah Pengantar Flute. Untuk mendapatkan informasi yang lebih valid lagi, digunakan juga penyebaran kuesioner kepada mahasiswa flute yang sudah pernah mengikuti mata kuliah pengantar flute. Analisis data dilakukan dengan membuat catatan-catatan penting dari sumber-sumber data yang didapat, kemudian dikelompokkan sesuai kebutuhan masalah penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Strategi pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh Dosen Flute Prodi Pendidikan Musik adalah kombinasi dari 3 jenis strategi pembelajaran, yaitu menggabungkan strategi Pembelajaran Langsung, Interaktif, dan Empirik. Selain itu dosen juga menekankan pada metode diskusi dan berbagi informasi antar – mahasiswa, agar mahasiswa mampu berpikir kritis dalam setiap proses pembelajaran, yang mencakup teknik dasar permainan flute, dan penerapan strategi pembelajaran oleh dosen seperti langkah-langkah maupun tahapan dasar bermain flute yang terdapat dalam proses pembelajaran mata kuliah pengantar flute. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa Strategi Pembelajaran dilakukan dosen telah membantu mahasiswa untuk menguasai keterampilan dasar bermain flute, dan sangat membekali mahasiswa untuk memasuki mata kuliah mayor flute. ""Learning Strategies in Introductory Flute Courses in Music Education Study Program, State University of Jakarta"" Music Education Study Program, Faculty of Language and Arts, State University of Jakarta. The Music Education Program of UNJ organizes Introductory Flute courses in 2nd semester with a weight of 2 credits, and becomes a compulsory course for students who will choose a major flute instrument. Learning in the introductory course of flute is very important initial provision as a basic laying or foundation in playing flute that must be owned by the flute player. This is the topic in this study, especially how the learning strategy in the course. The purpose of this research is to obtain detailed data on learning in the introductory courses of flute, especially the application of basic techniques in playing flute. The object of this research is the Introductory Flute course. The research was conducted for 6 months during the covid-19 pandemic. The research method used is Descriptive Qualitative with Library Study approach. The data was collected through literature studies from various document sources such as journals, books, articles and learning tools in the Introductory Flute course. To get more valid information, questionnaires are also used to disseminate questionnaires to flute students who have already attended flute delivery courses. Data analysis is done by making important records from the sources of data obtained, then grouped according to the needs of research problems. The results showed that the learning strategy used by Flute Lecturers of Music Education Program is a combination of 3 types of learning strategies, namely combining Direct, Interactive, and Empirical Learning strategies. In addition, lecturers also emphasize on the method of discussion and information sharing between students, so that students are able to think critically in each learning process, which includes basic techniques of flute games, and the application of learning strategies by lecturers such as the steps and basic stages of playing flute contained in the learning process of introductory flute courses. It can be concluded that the Learning Strategy conducted by lecturers has helped students to master the basic skills of playing flute, and greatly equips students to enter the major flute courses.
