Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk Buku Story Mapping (Buming) sebagai media pembelajaran membaca pemahaman siswa hambatan intelektual ringan. Penelitian menggunakan instrumen secara daring daring sejak Juli 2020–Januari 2021 dan tidak melibatkan siswa karena pandemi COVID–19. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) menggunakan model PPE (Planning, Production, Evaluation). Penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner yang dilakukan terhadap responden dengan tahapan berupa validasi oleh para ahli dan uji coba sepuluh guru kekhususan hambatan intelektual. Hasil penilaian Buming (Buku Story Mapping) oleh para ahli dan sepuluh guru memperoleh rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 85,25%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan media Buku Story Mapping (Buming) dapat digunakan oleh guru untuk membantu siswa hambatan intelektual ringan karena penyajian cerita urut, penuh warna, dapat digunakan sebagai sumber dan media belajar. This research and development is intended to produce Buku Story Mapping (Buming) as a learning media for reading comprehension of mild intellectual disability student. This research was conducted using instruments through online from July 2020 to January 2021 and did not involve the student due to COVID–19. The method in this research is Research and Development (R&D) referring to the PPE model (Planning, Production, Evaluation). This study used a questionnaire conducted on respondents with stages in the form of validation by experts and trials of ten mentally retarded specific teachers. The results of Buku Story Mapping's assessment (Buming) by experts and ten teachers obtained an overall average of 85,25%. This study showed that the development of Buming (Buku Story Mapping) is able to help mild intellectual disability student because Buming provides sequential story, full of color and is able to used as learning resource dan media.
