Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa bahan ajar Wordless Picture Book berbasis nilai-nilai karakter dalam pembelajaran PPKnKelas III Sekolah Dasar. Pengembangan produk Wordless Picture Book dirasa perlu untuk dikembangkan karena masifnya penyebaran buku yang kurang menyentuh dengan nilai-nilai karakter dan masih terbatasnya bahan ajar berbasis nilai-nilai karakter dalam bentuk Wordless Picture Book di Sekolah Dasar. Sejalan dengan program pemerintah yang dicanangkan melalui program Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter, menegaskan bahwa perlunya upaya menumbuhkembangkan karakter pada siswa dalam proses pembelajaran untuk menyiapkan dirinya menuju era generasi emas tahun 2045. Maka dari itu, upaya yang dapat dilakukan salah satunya dengan menggunakan bahan ajar “Wordless Picture Book”. Berdasarkan hasil analisis kebutuhan guru dan peserta didik, didapati kesimpulan bahwa bahan ajar Wordless picture Book perlu untuk dikembangkan dalam pembelajaran kelas. Adapun pengembangan bahan ajar Wordless Picture Book ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan nilai-nilai karakter dalam pembelajaran PPKn Kelas III Sekolah Dasar pada Tema 4 Kewajiban dan Hakku, subtema 1 Kewajiban dan Hakku di Rumah. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian dan Pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluations). Teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui tiga tahap, yaitu tahap Expert Review (penilaian para ahli), tahap Penilaian Pengguna, dan tahap Uji Coba Produk (one to one, small group, dan field test) secara daring. Hasil validasi dari para ahli, pengguna dan uji coba produk menyatakan bahwa produk layak untuk diujicobakan dengan skor presentase sebesar 92, 42 %, 88%, dan 96,67%. The aim of this study is to create a product in the form of Wordless Picture Book teaching materials based on character values in PPKn learning for third grade of Elementary School. The development of the Wordless Picture Book product is deemed necessary because of the massive distribution of books that do not touch the character values and the limited of teaching materials based on character values in the form of a Wordless Picture Book in Elementary Schools. In line with the government program that launched through the Strengthening Character Education program, emphasizing that there is a need for efforts to develop students’ character in the learning process to prepare themself for the golden generation era in 2045. Therefore, one of the efforts that can be made is by using the "Wordless Picture Book” as teaching material. Based on the need assessment from the teachers and students, it was found that the Wordless Picture Book teaching materials are needed to be developed in classroom learning. The development of the Wordless Picture Book teaching materials aims to introduce the character values in PPKn learning for third grade of Elementary School, especially on the fourth theme “My Obligations and Rights” in the first sub-theme “My Obligations and Rights at Home”. The method used in this research is research and development (R&D) using the ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluations). The data were analyzed in three stages: firstly, the Expert Review stage, secondly, the User Assessment stage, and thirdly, the online product trial stage (one to one, small group, and field test). The results of validation from the experts, users and product trials stated that the product was feasible to be tested with a percentage score of 92, 42%, 88%, and 96.67%.
