Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian reward terhadap peningkatan kepercayaan diri anak usia 5-6 tahun. Penelitian dilaksanakan di BKB PAUD Melati dan BKB PAUD Hananda Kelurahan Pinang Ranti, Kecamatan Makasar, Jakarta Timur. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 30 anak, masing-masing 15 anak untuk setiap kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah cluster random sampling. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen, dengan desain penelitian pretest-posttest control group design. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pengukuran menggunakan instrumen dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji-t. Hasil pengujian hipotesis pretest-posttest pada kelompok eksperimen menunjukkan 〖 t〗_hitung = 18,68 lebih besar dari 〖 t〗_tabel = 1,701, pada taraf signifikansi α = 0,05 dan dk = 28. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan pemberian reward terhadap peningkatan kepercayaan anak usia 5-6 tahun. Kata Kunci : Reward, Kepercayaan Diri, Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun This study aims to determine the effect of rewarding on increasing self-confidence of children aged 5-6 years. The research was conducted at BKB PAUD Melati and BKB PAUD Hananda, Pinang Ranti Village, Makasar District, East Jakarta. The sample in this study were 30 children, 15 each for the experimental group and the control group. Sample of this research obtained by using Cluster Random Sampling’s techniques. The research method used was an experimental method, with a pretest-posttest control group research design. The data was collected through measurements using instruments and analyzed using the t-test. The results of the pretest-posttest hypothesis testing in the experimental group showed that t_count= 18.68 was greater than t_table= 1.701, at the significance level α = 0.05 and dk = 28. Research result showed that there was a significant effect of rewarding on increasing the confidence of children aged 5-6 year. Keyword : Reward, Self-Confident, Child Aged 5-6 Years Old
