Abstract

his aims to see the maximum relationship between the grip strength of the hand muscles and the back muscles, either individually or together, whether there is a positive relationship between the maximum grip strength of the hand muscles and the back muscle tissue on the results of the harai goshi technique. This research was conducted using associative quantitative methods, the research instrument used handgrip dynamometer to measure the grip strength of the hand muscles, sit and reach to measure back muscle flexibility and harai goshi technique to see the ability to slam. The analysis technique used skull analysis and regression. The results showed the coefficient of determination of the grip strength of the hand muscles (%1) on the harai goshi technique (y) was (rxy2) = 0.348, which contributed 11.92% to the grip strength of the hand muscles (1). The coefficient of determination of muscle loss (%2) on the harai goshi technique (y) is (rxy2) = 0.768 which means that it contributes 58.97%. The coefficient of determination of the grip strength of the hand muscles (%1) and muscle weakness (terhadap2) on the harai goshi technique (y) is (rxy2)= 0.865, which means that together they contribute 78.42%. So it can be interpreted that there is a positive relationship between the grip strength of the hand muscles and the maximum muscle flexibility to the results of the harai goshi technique.
