Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh variabel kompetensi, organisasi pembelajaran (learning organization), dan kemampuan pengambilan keputusan terhadap kinerja pengelola LKP di Pulau Jawa. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang menggunakan teknik analisis jalur (path analysis). Responden penelitian ini sebanyak 377 orang pengelola LKP di Pulau Jawa (Provinsi Banten, DKI Jakarta, Jawa Barat, Jawa Tengah, D.I. Yogyakarta, dan Jawa Timur). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) kompetensi berpengaruh langsung positif terhadap kinerja; 2) organisasi pembelajaran (learning organization) berpengaruh langsung positif terhadap kinerja; 3) kemampuan pengambilan keputusan berpengaruh langsung positif terhadap kinerja; 4) kompetensi berpengaruh langsung positif terhadap kemampuan pengambilan keputusan; 5) organisasi pembelajaran (learning organization) berpengaruh langsung positif terhadap kemampuan pengambilan keputusan; 6) kompetensi berpengaruh tidak langsung positif terhadap kinerja melalui kemampuan pengambilan keputusan: dan 7) organisasi pembelajaran (learning organization) berpengaruh tidak langsung positif terhadap kinerja melalui kemampuan pengambilan keputusan. Dengan demikian dapat dinyatakan bahwa faktor-faktor seperti kompetensi, organisasi pembelajaran (learning organization), dan kemampuan pengambilan keputusan tidak dapat diabaikan dalam peningkatan kinerja pengelola LKP. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan upaya peningkatan kinerja pengelola LKP melalui penguatan kompetensi, optimalisasi implementasi organisasi pembelajaran (learning organization), dan peningkatan kemampuan pengambilan keputusan secara berkela This study aims to analyze the influence of competency, learning organization, and decision-making abilities on managers’ performance of course and training institutions in Java. This research is a quantitative study that uses the path analysis method. Respondents of this study were 377 managers of course and training institutions located in Java. The results of this study indicate that: 1) competency has positive direct effect on performance; 2) the learning organization has positive direct effect on performance; 3) decision making ability has positive direct effect on performance; 4) competency has positive direct effect on decision making ability; 5) learning organization has positive direct effect on decision making ability; 6) competency has positive indirect effect on performance through decision making ability; and 7) learning organization has positive direct effect on performance through decision-making ability. Furthermore, it can be stated that some factors such as competency, learning organization, and decision making ability should be concerned since they are important aspects in improving the managers of course and training institutions. Hence, it is necessary to improve the performance of managers’ performance course and training institution by strengthening competencies, enhancing the knowledge of learning organization and optimizing the implementation of learning organization, and increasing the ability of decision making continuously.
