Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sebuah produk berupa buku pengayaan pengetahuan materi indra pengecap IPA yang berjudul “Buku Pengayaan Lidah” berbasis pendekatan kontekstual untuk siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian Reasearch and Development (R&D). Model penelitian yang digunakan adalah model Rowntree. Penelitian menggunakan siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar sebanyak 15 orang sebagai responden. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner serta dilakukan wawancara dan observasi. Teknik evaluasi data pada penelitian ini yaitu evaluasi oleh para ahli (expert review), evaluasi satu-satu oleh siswa (face to face) dan uji coba lapangan (field trials). Hasil uji coba validasi oleh para ahli dalam penelitian ini menunjukan persentase materi 92%, media 96% dan bahasa 89%. Hasil uji coba pada tahap field trials menuntujukan persentase 97% dengan kategori sangat baik. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa buku pengayaan pengetahuan IPA berbasis pendekatan kontekstual merupakan produk yang valid dan dapat digunakan sebagai sumber belajar dalam pembelajaran maupun belajar mandiri. ***************************** This development research aimed to produce a product in the form of an enrichment book about the science of taste entitled “Buku Pengaayaan Lidah” based on a contextual approach for grade 4th elementary school students. The method used in this research is Research and De4velopment (R&D). Rowntree model is used as the reaserch model. This research involved 15 students of 4th grade elementary school as the respondents. A questionnaire is used to collect the data as well as interview and observation. The data evaluation techniques in this study were evaluation by experts (expert review), one-to-one evaluation by students (face to face) and field trials. The results of validation trials by experts in this research showed the proportion of materials was 92% media was 96% and language was 89%. The trial results at the field trial stage showed the proportation of 97% inexcellent category. The results showed that the science knowledge enrichment book based on a contextual approach is a valid product and can be used as a learning resource in learning and independent learning.
