Abstract

Rendahnya perilaku pencarian bantuan pada siswa mengakibatkan permasalahan tidak terselesaikan dengan tepat. Siswa perlu melakukan upaya pencarian bantuan agar masalah dapat terselesaikan dengan cara yang tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran perilaku pencarian bantuan pada siswa SMA Negeri di DKI Jakarta dengan permasalahan psikologis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian survey. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah incidental sampling. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 398 siswa SMA Negeri di DKI Jakarta. Alat ukur yang digunakan pada penelitian adaptasi instrumen Generale Help-seeking Questionnaire, Prior Counseling, dan Actual Help-seeking Questionnaire. Secara umum siswa SMA Negeri di DKI Jakarta memiliki kecenderungan tidak mencari bantuan dan berniat tidak mencari bantuan ketika mengalami masalah. Selain itu, siswa lebih bersedia mengakses bantuan dari sumber informal dibandingkan sumber formal. Kata Kunci: Perilaku Pencarian Bantuan, Permasalahan Psikologis The low behavior of seeking help among students results in problems not being resolved properly. Students need to make efforts to find help so that problem is resolved in an appropriate manner. This study aims to obtain a description of the behavior of seeking help among high school students in DKI Jakarta with personal and emotional problems. This study use a survey research method. The sampling technique used is incidental sampling. The sample of this research is 398 students of high school in DKI Jakarta. The measuring instrument used in research on the adaptation of the Generale Help-seeking Questionnaire, Prior Counseling, and Actual Help-seeking Questionnaire instruments. Research Results: In general, high school students in DKI Jakarta have a tendency not to seek assistance and do not intend to seek assistance when experiencing problems. In addition, students are more willing to access assistance from informal sources than formal sources. Keywords: Help-Seeking Behavior, Psychologist Problems
