Abstract

The objective of this research was to understand the effect of job design and quality of work life (QWL) on employees job performance. It was a quantitative research in Centre of Education and Training of Customs. This research used a survey method with path analysis applied in testing hyphotesis. It was conducted to 49 employees as the respondents which were selected in a simple random way. The result of this study are (1) There is a positive direct effect of job design on job performance; (2) There is a positive direct effect of quality of work life (QWL) on job performance; (3) There is a positive direct effect of job design on quality of work life (QWL).
