Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the increasing process the interpersonal intelligence of grade B Kindergarten students through fun cooking activities. The research was carried out in TK Pipit Sejahtera in Bekasi from November 2013 to June 2014. Subjects were grade B in TK Pipit Sejahtera in Bekasi consisting of 15 children. This research using action research method was according to action research model of Kemmis and Mc. Taggart made through two cycles consisting of 8 sessions in the first cycle and 8 sessions in the second cycle. The cycle consists of four steps: a) planning, b) action (acting), c) observation (observing), and d) reflection (reflecting). The analysis of data employed by qualitative and quantitative data. Quantitative data analysis obtain there was a development enhance that interpersonal intelligence from pre-cycle up to second cycle. The predefined criteria of the increased of children interpersonal intelligence is 71%. In the end of first cycle shown that the average percentage of children interpersonal intelligence only 66%, and in the end of the second cycle, it became 80%. Qualitative analysis data was employed by Milles and Hubberman model by steps: reduction, display and verification. The result shown that fun cooking activities was success to develop interpersonal intelligence of students in grade B TK Pipit Sejahtera Bekasi.
