Abstract

ABSTRAK Hanna Muthi’ah Az Zahra, Peran Guru Agama dalam Pengembangan Moderasi Beragama di Sekolah, Pendidikan Agama Islam, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, 2021. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengembangan moderasi beragama yang dilakukan oleh guru agama di tiga sekolah dengan latar belakang sekolah yang berbeda yakni SMA Negeri 103 Jakarta, SMAIT Al Fidaa, dan SMA Santo Bellarminus Bekasi. Adapun pengambilan lokasi atau area geografis, dalam hal ini penulis menggunakan pendekatan yang cukup luas yaitu area JABODETABEK, jadi tidak harus dilakukan di satu lokasi karena secara sosiologis masyarakat di JABODETABEK memiliki kesamaan ciri-ciri atau karakteristik. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan multi kasus (multiple case study) untuk mendeskripsikan peran guru agama dalam pengembangan moderasi beragama dari latar belakang sekolah yang berbeda. Sumber data diperoleh dari hasil wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Karena penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada masa pandemi Covid-19 maka wawancara yang dilakukan penulis secara dua tahap yakni wawancara langsung dan wawancara tidak langsung (online). Sedangkan Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori tentang peran guru (Prey Katz) dan pengembangan moderasi beragama (Lukman Hakim Saifuddin dan Quraish Shihab). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dari segi pemahaman para guru-guru agama di tiga sekolah tersebut nampaknya telah memahami arti dan makna dari moderasi beragama, terbukti dari peranan yang telah guru agama lakukan menghasilkan sikap-sikap dan kegiatan-kegiatan yang dapat mengembangkan moderasi beragama disekolah. Seperti di SMA Negeri 103 Jakarta, terdapat penananan sikap kasih, toleransi beragama, kerja sama dan tolong menolong, disiplin, saling mengingatkan dan tidak bersikap bullying. Kemudian di SMAIT Al Fidaa, terdat penanaman sikap berupa toleransi beragama, karena meskipun sekolah Islam dari masing-masing Individu memiliki pandanganpandangan atau mazhab-mazhab yang berbeda-berbeda. Sedangkan dari SMA Santo Bellarminus Bekasi terdapat penanaman sikap berupa non-kekerasan, dan tidak diskriminasi, saling mendukung, cinta kasih, saling menerima, menghargai dan menghormati, Toleranasi dan berbela rasa. Kata Kunci: Peran Guru, Pengembangan Moderasi Beragama ABSTRACT Hanna Muthi'ah Az Zahra, The Role of a Religious Teacher in the Development of Religious Moderation at school, Islamic Religious Education, Faculty of Social Sciences, Jakarta State University, 2021. The study aims to describe the development of religious modernity performed by religious teachers at three schools of different backgrounds: district high school 103 Jakarta, smait al fidaa, and santo bellarminus bekasi. As for the taking of location or geographic areas, the writer may use a rather broad approach to the jabodetachment area, so it must not be done in one location because sociologically the people in jabodetachment have similar characteristics or characteristics. The study USES descriptive types of qualitative research by using multiple case studies to describe the role of religious teachers in the development of religious moderations from different school backgrounds. Data sources obtained from interviews, and documentary studies. Because the study was carried out during the covid-19 pandemic, a two-stage interview by the author of direct and indirect interviews (online) was conducted. Whereas the theories used in this study were theories of the role of teachers (prey katz) and the development of religious moderations (lukman judge saifuddin and the quraysh shihab). The results of the study suggest that in terms of understanding the religious teachers in the three schools seem to have understood the meaning and meaning of religious moderation, evidence is that the role religious teachers have taken has resulted in attitudes and activities that might promote school moderation. As in district school 103 Jakarta, there is a cultivating of people's attitudes of love, religious tolerance, cooperation and please help, discipline, counseling, and not bullying. Then in smait al fidaa, an implanting of a stance of religious tolerance, for although individual islamic schools have different views or mazhab-mazhab. Whereas saint bellarminus belov's high school is an implantation of non-violence and discrimination, mutual support, love, acceptance, respect and respect, tolerance and conformity.
