Abstract

Kemandirian belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran biologi di SMA selama belajar dari rumah saat pandemi Covid 19 tentunya sangat dibutuhkan untuk menjaga dan meningkatkan kualitas belajar. Salah satu ciri dari belajar biologi yaitu dibutuhkannya sebuah kemandirian belajar sebagai sarana pendukung. Satu di antara beberapa faktor yang memengaruhi kemandirian belajar yaitu self-efficacy. Self-efficacy merupakan suatu komponen yang sangat berperan dalam meningkatkan kemandirian belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan self-efficacy dengan kemandirian belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran biologi di SMA selama belajar dari rumah dan dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 21 Jakarta pada bulan Januari tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Metode yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kuantitatif dengan studi korelasi. Sampel berjumlah 106 siswa kelas XI MIPA yang terpilih melalui teknik simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik survei yang menggunakan instrumen self-efficacy dan instrumen kemandirian belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran biologi di SMA selama belajar dari rumah. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif self-efficacy dengan kemandirian belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran biologi di SMA selama belajar dari rumah dan kedua variabel tersebut termasuk dalam kriteria tingkat tinggi. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, maka perlu ditingkatkan self-efficacy siswa untuk membentuk kemandirian belajar pada mata pelajaran biologi di SMA selama BDR. Kata Kunci: Belajar dari rumah, Covid 19, kemandirian belajar, pandemi, self-efficacy. ********** The independence of student learning in biology subjects in high school while learning from home during the Covid 19 pandemic is certainly needed to maintain and improve the quality of learning. One of the characteristics of learning biology is the need for independent learning as a means of support. One of several factors that influence learning independence is self-efficacy. Self-efficacy is a component that plays a very important role in increasing student learning independence. This study aims to determine the correlation of self-efficacy with student learning independence in biology subjects in high school while learning from home and was carried out at SMA Negeri 21 Jakarta in January 2020/2021 academic year. The method used is descriptive quantitative with correlation studies. The sample used was 106 students of class XI MIPA who were selected through simple random sampling technique. Data was collected using a survey technique that used self-efficacy instruments and students' independent learning instruments in biology subjects in high school while learning from home. The results of the analysis show that there is a positive relationship between self-efficacy and student learning independence in biology subjects in high school while studying from home and both variables are included in the high-level criteria. Based on this, it is necessary to increase students' self-efficacy to form learning independence in biology subjects in high school while studying from home.
