Abstract
ABSTRAK* Penulisan komprehensif ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar materi Table Set up pada mata pelajaran Tata Hidang melalui metode pembelajaran demonstrasi bagi siswa SMK kelas XI. Data penelitian ini diambil pada bulan Juni 2018 di SMK Negeri 33 Jakarta. Subjek yang diteliti adalah siswa kelas XI Jasa Boga 2 SMK Negeri 33 jakarta yang berjumlah 26 orang. Berdasarkan peningkatan hasil belajar menggunakan metode pembelajaran demonstrasi yang dicapai adalah peningkatan nilai rata-rata KKM pada post test sebesar 85% dari nilai pre test sebesar 23,1% dan peningkatan nilai rata-rata aspek keaktifan siswa pada observasi sebesar 79,6% dari nilai pra observasi sebesar 43,8%. Kata kunci : Peningkatan hasil belajar, tata hidang ABSTRACT* This comprehensive aims to improve the learning outcome for Table Set up on Subject of Food and Beverage Service through learning method of demonstration for Vocational High School Students on Grade XI. The data for this research was taken on June 2018 at 33 Vocational High School, Jakarta. Subjects being researched consist of 26 XI grade students of catering service from forementioned school. The result shows that learning method by demonstration increases the average score of Minimum Passing Grade on post test as much as 85% from pre test score of 23,1% and also increases in average score of students’ participation aspect on observation as much as 79,6% from pre observation score of 43,8%.
