Abstract

ABSTRAK* Kurikulum merupakan pedoman dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan pembelajaran yang disusun berdasarkan standar kompetensi yang telah ditetapkan sebagai acuan, agar dapat mencapai tujuan pendidikan yang sama dan menghasilkan sumber daya manusia yang kompeten. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana persepsi alumni Program Studi Pendidikan Tata Rias terhadap kesesuaian kurikulum tata rias dengan kompetensi modifikasi rias pengantin. Responden pada penelitian ini adalah alumni tahun kelulusan 2015 – 2019 berjumlah 31 responden dengan latar belakang pekerjaan sebagai penata rias pengantin. Menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode survei dengan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dan dianalisis secara statistik deskriptif dengan deskriptif persentase kemudian dikonsultasikan dengan tabel kriteria dan ditafsirkan menjadi kalimat. Hasil penelitian dapat dilihat pada setiap indikatornya. Indikator yang terdapat di dalam unit kompetensi SKKNI Modifikasi Rias Pengantin (MRP) Yogya Putri: pemahaman rias wajah, rambut, busana, perhiasan dan bunga pengantin Yogya Putri (84,49%), keterampilan merias wajah dan rambut (77,41%). Indikator yang tidak terdapat di dalam unit kompetensi SKKNI Modifikasi Rias Pengantin (MRP) Yogya Putri: menguasai ragam rias pengantin daerah Indonesia (88,17%), menguasai tata cara upacara adat perkawinan daerah Indonesia (61,29%), menguasai wedding organizer (79,03%). Indikator kesesuaian kurikulum dan peran kurikulum: kesesuaian kurikulum dan peran kurikulum (86,29%). Sehingga disimpulkan kurikulum tata rias sudah sesuai dengan unit kompetensi pada SKKNI Modifikasi Rias Pengantin (MRP) Yogya Putri. Saran dan masukan alumni untuk kurikulum tata rias yaitu lebih meningkatkan mata kuliah pengantin sesuai dengan perkembangan zaman, memperbarui fasilitas, mendatangkan dosen tamu, meningkatkan mata kuliah pengantin mengenai tata upacara adat dan penambahan materi baru terkait pengelolaan usaha bisnis pengantin. Kata kunci : Kurikulum, Kompetensi Pengantin, Pendidikan Tata Rias ********* ABSTRACT This study aimed to determine the perception of alumni of the Cosmetology Education Study Programme towards makeup curriculum with bridal competence. This study was conducted in the 114th semester of the 2020/2021 academic year. Respondents used in this study were alumni of the 2015 - 2019 graduation year with a total of 31 people with a work background as bridal makeup artists. Deploying saturated sampling as a sampling technique, as well as a survey method with a quantitative descriptive approach, the data were analyzed descriptively with descriptive percentages which were then consulted with the criteria table and translated into sentences. The result of the study could be seen in each indicator. It suggested that the indicators contained in the SKKNI Modification od Bridal Makeup Yogya Putri (MRP) Yogya Putri showed that the understanding of makeup, hair, clothing, jewelry and bridal flowers was (84.49%), while makeup and hair skills were (77.41%). Indicators that were not contained in the SKKNI Modification od Bridal Makeup Yogya Putri (MRP) Yogya Putri such as mastering the variety of Indonesian regional bridal makeup was (88.17%), and mastering the procedures for traditional Indonesian wedding ceremonies was (61.29%). Meanwhile, mastering wedding organizers was (79.03%). Indicator of curriculum conformity include curriculum conformity and the role of the curriculum were (86.29%). It could be concluded that the cosmetology curriculum program was suitable to the competence of the bride and groom. There were also suggestions and input from alumni for the cosmetology curriculum is for further improving courses according to the times, updating facilities, bring in guest lecturers, improving bridal courses on tradional ceremony arrangements, as well as adding new materials related to the management of the bridal business.
