Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami informasi mengenai bagaimana penanaman karakter disiplin anak dan faktor yang mempengaruhi penanaman karakter disiplin anak di Dompet Yatim dan Dhuafa Lubang Buaya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara wawancara dan dokumentasi. Wawancara dilakukan dengan enam orang informan yaitu pengasuh, pelayanan, dan empat orang anak asuh. Key Informant dilakukan dengan kepala asrama Dompet Yatim dan Dhuafa yaitu Nurul Imamsyah dan diperkuat dari pendapat expert Dr. Achmad Husein M.Pd yang ahli dibidang tersebut. Teknik kalibrasi keabsahan data dengan menggunakan bahan referensi, trianggulasi data, dan expert opinion, untuk Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penanaman karakter disiplin anak di Dompet Yatim dan Dhuafa Lubang Buaya yaitu dengan cara pembiasaan kegiatan rutin yang sudah dijadwalkan oleh asrama seperti Sholat wajib berjamaah, Sholat sunnah berjamaah, puasa Senin Kamis, tadarusan sehabis Magrib, Hafalan Al-Quran, pembelajaran setiap hari dengan pengasuh atau guru privat, dan membersihkan asrama. Faktor yang mempengaruhi dalam membentuk karakter disiplin anak yaitu adanya sanksi dari pengasuh seperti Sholat Dhuha 10 rakaat, tadarusan dengan diawasi pengasuh, membersihkan halaman, dan dikeluarkan dari asrama. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu anak sudah diberikan pemahaman oleh pengasuh tentang pentingnya mempunyai karakter disiplin sejak awal memasuki asrama, pengasuh melakukan penanaman karakter disiplin dengan membiasakan anak untuk menaati kegiatan rutin sehari-hari di asrama, hal tersebut membuat anak terbiasa untuk menaati peraturan. Faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi penanaman karakter disiplin anak yaitu dengan adanya sanksi. Pengasuh bersikap tegas dengan memberikan sanksi bagi yang melanggar peraturan, hal tersebut depat membuat anak terpaksa untuk menaati peraturan yang ada. Kata Kunci : Kedisiplinan, pembiasaan This study aims to understand information about how to instill a child's discipline character and the factors that influence the cultivation of a child's discipline character in Dompet Yatim and Dhuafa Lubang Buaya. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method using data collection techniques by means of interviews and documentation. Interviews were conducted with six informants, namely caregivers, services, and four foster children. The key informant was conducted with the head of the Dompet Yatim and Dhuafa dormitories, namely Nurul Imamsyah and was strengthened by the expert opinion of Dr. Achmad Husein M.Pd who is an expert in this field. The data validity calibration technique uses reference materials, data triangulation, and expert opinion, for data analysis techniques using data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the inculcation of the disciplined character of children in Dompet Yatim and Dhuafa Lubang Buaya is by habituation to routine activities that have been scheduled by the hostel such as obligatory prayers in congregation, sunnah prayers in congregation, fasting on Mondays and Thursdays, tadarusan after Maghrib, memorizing the Koran, learning every day. day with a nanny or private tutor, and cleaning the dormitory. Factors that influence in shaping the character of children's discipline are sanctions from caregivers such as praying 10 cycles of Dhuha, tadarusan under supervision of caregivers, cleaning the yard, and being expelled from the dormitory. Reward is also a factor that influences the cultivation of disciplined characters, in the form of praise and graduation from the dormitory. The conclusion of this study is that the child has been given an understanding by the caregiver about the importance of having a disciplined character from the beginning of entering the dormitory, the caregiver cultivates a disciplined character by getting the child to obey the daily routine activities in the hostel, this makes the child accustomed to obeying the rules. Factors that can affect the inculcation of a child's discipline character are the sanctions and rewards. Caregivers are firm by giving sanctions for those who violate the rules, this can make the child forced to follow the existing rules. Keywords: Discipline, habituation
