Abstract

Brian Chafariz Nursidiq. Pembinaan Karakter Peduli Lingkungan di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Sekolah Alam Cikeas. Skripsi. Jakarta: Program Studi Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. 2021. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan informasi secara empiris proses pembinaan karakter peduli lingkungan bagi siswa serta perubahan karakter siswa dengan pembinaan karakter peduli lingkungan di SMP sekolah Alam Cikeas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Sumber data primer diperoleh dari informan siswa SMP Sekolah Alam Cikeas yang berjumlah 6 orang serta key informan terdiri dari guru dan kepala SMP Sekolah Alam Cikeas serta kepala divisi pendidikan dan lingkungan Sekolah Alam Cikeas. Sumber data sekunder didapat dari arsip data key informan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik keabsahan kalibrasi data dilakukan dengan cara member check, audit trail, triangulasi dan expert opinion. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari sampai dengan Juni 2021. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya proses pembinaan karakter peduli lingkungan di SMP Sekolah Alam Cikeas yang dilaksanakan melalui dua proses, yakni: (1) melaksanakan program-program sekolah yang berkaitan dengan pembinaan serta pembiasaan peduli lingkungan di SMP Sekolah Alam Cikeas, (2) dengan dibuatnya peraturan terkait dengan peduli lingkungan serta adanya jika melanggar peraturan. Perubahan karakter yang terjadi dengan adanya proses pembinaan karakter peduli lingkungan bagi siswa di SMP Sekolah Alam Cikeas menjadikan siswa lebih peduli dengan lingkungan sekolah maupun lingkungan sekitar. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa proses pembinaan karakter peduli lingkungan di SMP Sekolah Alam Cikeas dapat memberikan dampak positif dalam memperkuat karakter peduli lingkungan bagi siswa sehingga menjadikan siswa lebih peduli serta bertanggung jawab terhadap lingkungan di sekolah, keluarga dan masyarakat. The purpose of this research was to obtain empirical information related to the process of character building of environmental care characters for students as well as changing character of the students with the process of character building environmental care in the Cikeas Junior High School of Nature. This research uses a qualitative research method with descriptive approach. Sources of primary data obtained informant Cikeas Junior High School of Nature student, amounting to six students and key informants consisting of teacher and head of Cikeas Junior High School of Nature and head of the education and environmental division of Cikeas Nature School. Sources of secondary data obtained from key informant data archive. Data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The data calibration validity technique is done by means of member check, audit trail, triangulation, and expert opinion. This research was conducted from January to June 2021. The result of this research showed that with the process of character building of environmental care in Cikeas Junior High School of Nature which is carried out though two process. First, implement school programs related to the development and habituation of environmental care. Second, with the creation of regulations related to environmental care and sanctions if it violates the rules. Changes occurring characters with their characters building process of environmental care for students in Cikeas Junior High School of Nature make students more concered with the school environment and the environment. The conclusion in this research shows that by organizing the process of character building of environmental care in Cikeas Junior High School of Nature can have a positive impact in strengthening the character of environmental care for the students, specifically making students more concerned and responsible for the environment in schools, families and communities.
