Abstract

ABSTRAK RENDI WIJAYA, Representasi Nilai-Nilai Nasionalisme dalam Film Wage (Analisis Konten dalam Film Wage Karya John De Rantau). Skripsi. Jakarta: Program Studi Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial,Universitas Negeri Jakarta, 2021. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui representasi nilai-nilai nasionalisme yang terdapat dalam film Wage Karya John De Rantau. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini dimulai dari bulan Februari sampai dengan bulan Juni 2021. Sumber data primer diperoleh dari naskah skenario film Wage. Data sekunder diperoleh dari hasil wawancara kepada para informan dan dari data hasil analisis naskah skenario film Wage. Para informan adalah orang-orang yang sudah pernah menonton maupun membaca naskah skenario film Wage.Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah studi dokumenter, observasi, dan wawancara.Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis konten.Teknik keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi data, meningkatkan ketekunan, dan kecukupan referensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat nilai-nilai nasionalisme dalam film Wage yang direpresentasikan melalui sikap dan pemikiran tokoh utama, dialog antar tokoh, serta gambaran peristiwa yang terjadi dalam naskah skenario film Wage yang meliputi rasa: (1) bangga sebagai bangsa Indonesia, (2) cinta tanah air dan bangsa, (3) rela berkorban demi bangsa, (4) menerima kemajemukan, (5) bangga kepada keanekaragaman budaya, (6) menghargai jasa para pahlawan, dan (7) mengutamakan kepentingan umum. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini diketahui bahwa media film dirasa sebagai salah satu opsi yang efektif dalam proses penanaman sekaligus peningkatan rasa nasionalisme yang dimiliki oleh generasi Indonesia khususnya generasi muda yaitu melalui nilai-nilai nasionalisme yang di representasikan dalam film Wage. This research aims to determine the representation of the values of nationalism in the film Wage by John De Rantau. This research uses qualitative descriptive. This research started from February to June 2021. The primary data source is derived from Wage movie screenplay.Secondarydata is derived from interviews to informers and from the analysis of data Wage movie screenplay. The informers are people who have watched or read Wage movie screenplay. The data collection techniques used in this study are documentary study, observation, and interview. The data analysis technique used is content analysis. Data validity techniques using data triangulation, increase persistence, and referential adequacy. The results of the study show that there are values of nationalism in the film Wage which are represented throught the attitudes and thoughts of the main characters, dialogues between characters, and descriptions of events that occur in the Wage movie screenplay which includes taste: (1) proud to be Indonesian, (2) love country and nation, (3) willing to sacrifice for the nation, (4) accept plurality, (5) proud of cultural diversity, (6) Appreciate the services of the heroes, and (7) Prioritize the public interest. The conclusion of this study is that film media is considered as an effective option in the process of planting as well as increasing the sense of nationalism prossessed by the Indonesian generation, especially the younger generation namely through the values of nationalism represented in the film Wage.
