Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peranan permainan rakyat dalam pemanfaatan waktu luang dimasa pandemi pada komunitas Traditional Games Return (TGR) di Bekasi Jawa Barat. Sumber data diperoleh dari pengurus komunitas TGR dan relawan komunitas TGR. Pada penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif Kualitatif. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer terdiri dari catatan lapangan dan data sekunder didapatkan melalui catatan pedoman wawancara dan transkip hasil wawancara. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi untuk pengambilan hasil penelitian. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model miles dan huberman. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah, 1) Mengetahui cara mengenalkan perainan rakyat dimas pandemi yang dilakukan komunitas TGR. 2) Memecahkan masalah kejenuhan masyarakat dimasa pandemi dengan memanfaatkan waktu luang dengan hal yang positif. 3) Adanya penemuan bahwa permainan karet dapat menurunkan berat badan dimasa pandemi. 4) Permainan rakyat dapat membuat keeratan dalam keluarga dimasa pandemi. Kata Kunci: Permainan Rakyat, Waktu Luang This study aims to determine the role of folk games in the use of free time during the pandemic in the Traditional Games Return (TGR) community in Bekasi, West Java. Sources od data were obtained from TGR community administrators and TGR community volunteers. In this study, the researcher used a qualitative descriptive research ethod. The data used are primary data consisting of field notes and secondary data obtained through interview guide notes and interview transcripts. Data collection techniques used observation, interview, and documentation to retrieve research results. The data analysis technique in this study uses the Miles and Huberman models. The results of this study are,1)Knowing how to introduce people’s activities durin the pandemic carried out by the TGR community. 2) Solving the problem of community saturation during the pandemic by utilizing free time with positive things. 3)The discovery that rubber games can lose weight during the pandemic. 4) Folk games can create closeness in the family during a pandemic.
