Abstract

Minat adalah kecenderungan hati yang tinggi terhadap suatu hal atau kegiatan. Minat yang ada pada mahasiswa bermacam-macam, mahasiswa yang kurang tertarik dengan kegiatan akademik dapat mencoba untuk mencoba minat non akademik seperti kegiatan olahraga. Masa remaja merupakan masa peralihan dari anak ke remaja, ada yang mengatakan bahwa masa remaja adalah masa pubertas dimana terjadi perubahan fisik yang dialami oleh remaja. Dalam permainan rugby, mereka tidak akan dapat mencapai tujuan pencapaian jika minatnya rendah. Rugby (bahasa Inggris: Rugby) adalah jenis permainan bola beregu yang dimainkan oleh dua tim. Setiap tim berusaha mencetak gol dengan cara menendang, melempar, atau membawa bola sehingga tendangannya dapat melepaskan gawang lawan atau menyentuh di belakang garis lawan. Tim yang mencetak poin terbanyak menang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar minat siswa kelas VII terhadap olahraga rugby di SMP N 10 Jakarta tahun 2021. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survei. Subyek penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP N 10 Jakarta yang berjumlah 250 siswa. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik Random Sampling yaitu metode pengambilan sampel secara acak berjenjang yang diambil 20% dari total pipulasi. Sehingga sampel yang digunakan bisa sebanyak 50 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif analisis persentase data menggunakan aplikasi komputer melalui program SPSS 25 dan Microsoft Excel. Berdasarkan hasil uji validitas dan reliabilitas, semua data dinyatakan reliabel karena rata-rata nilai korelasi Cronbach's Alpha sebesar 0,849 dianggap baik untuk digunakan. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa minat siswa terhadap olahraga rugby tergolong tinggi, dengan pertimbangan frekuensi tertinggi berada pada sangat tinggi sebesar 18%, kategori tinggi sebesar 72%, kategori sedang sebesar 10%, kategori rendah sebesar 0%, kategori sangat rendah sebesar 0 % Interest is a high tendency of the heart towards a thing or activity. Adolescence is a period of transition from child to teenager, some say that adolescence is a period of puberty where there are physical changes experienced by adolescents. In the game of rugby, they will not be able to achieve the goal of achievement if their interest is low. Rugby (English: Rugby) is a type of team ball game played by two teams. Each team tries to score a goal by kicking, throwing, or carrying the ball so that it can kick to release the opponent's goal or touch behind the opponent's line. The team that scores the most points wins. This study aims to determine how much interest grade VII students have in rugby at SMP N 10 Jakarta in 2021. This research is a quantitative descriptive study. The method used is the survey method. The subjects of this study were all students of class VII at SMP N 10 Jakarta with a total of 250 students. Samples were taken using the Random Sampling technique, which is a tiered random sampling method that was taken 20% of the total pipulation. So that the sample used can be as many as 50 students. The instrument used is a questionnaire. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis of percentage analysis data using a computer application through the SPSS 25 and Microsoft Excel programs. Based on the results of the validity and reliability tests, all data are declared reliable because the average Cronbach's Alpha correlation value of 0.849 is considered good to use. This study shows that students' interest in rugby sports is high, with consideration of the highest frequency being at very high at 18%, high category at 72%, moderate category at 10%, low category at 0%, very low category at 0%
