Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara penguasaan kosakata dengan keterampilan berbicara bahasa arab di kelas VIII MTsN 20 Jakarta. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif, dan menggunakan teknik sampling purposive. Adapun teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan Correlation Product Moment yang terdiri pengumpulan data dari sebagian siswa di kelas VIII berjumlah 20 responden dengan uji homogenitas, normalitas, dan linieritas. Model penelitian ini adalah studi hubungan. Adapun metode pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan observasi, wawancara bersama guru, studi dokumen, ujian lisan dan tertulis pada siswa-siswi. Setelah peneliti melakukan penelitian ini diperoleh hasil ujian tertulis dan lisan pada siswa-siswi diketahui dengan penguasaan kosakata (variabel X) sejumlah 70,75 bernilai baik. Hasil tes lisan dari keterampilan berbicara bahasa arab (variabel Y) sejumlah 70 bernilai baik. Adapun hasil dari nilai r hitung sejumlah 0,90 dan hasil nilai r tabel sejumlah 0,444 pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Dari hasil ini peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa r hitung lebih besar dari r tabel, dan ini merupakan bukti hipotesis (Ha) diterima dan hipotesis nol (Ho) ditolak. Peneliti memperoleh hubungan antara penguasaan kosakata dan keterampilan berbicara dalam bahasa Arab, yang merupakan hubungan yang sangat kuat. This study aims to determine the relationship between vocabulary mastery and Arabic speaking skills in class VIII MTsN 20 Jakarta. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative research, and uses purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique using Correlation Product Moment which consists of collecting data from some students in class VIII totaling 20 respondents with homogeneity, normality, and linearity tests, this research model is a correlaction study. The research data collection methods used observation, interviews with teachers, document studies, oral and written exams for students. After the researchers conducted this research, the results of the written and oral exams for the students were known to have a good vocabulary mastery (variable X) of 70.75. The results of the oral test of Arabic speaking skills (variable Y) of 70 were good. The results of the calculated r value are 0.90 and the results of the r table values are 0.444 at a significance level of 5%. From these results, the researcher concludes that r arithmetic is greater than r table, and this is evidence that the hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. The researcher found a correlation between vocabulary mastery and speaking skill in Arabic, which is a very strong of correlation
