Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar hubungan antara supervisi akademik kepala sekolah dengan kinerja guru di SMA Swasta Kecamatan Pondok Melati, Kota Bekasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survey. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 112 guru, dengan total sampel sebanyak 88 guru yang tersebar dari beberapa Sekolah Menengah Atas Swasta di Kecamatan Pondok Melati, Kota Bekasi yaitu SMAS Pangudi Luhur II, SMAS Hutama, SMAS Sandikta, dan SMAS Handayani. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah Proporsional Random Sampling dan Simple Random Sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket/kuesioner dengan skala likert. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan Uji Korelasi Product Moment, dan Uji Tabel t. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh nilai thitung = 7,489 lebih besar daripada ttabel = 1,988, dengan perolehan nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,395 atau 39,5%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa supervisi akademik kepala sekolah memberikan kontribusi sebesar 39,5% terhadap kinerja guru. Dengan demikian, dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara variabel supervisi akademik kepala sekolah dengan kinerja guru di SMA Swasta Kecamatan Pondok Melati, Kota Bekasi. Artinya, semakin baik pelaksanaan supervisi akademik kepala sekolah maka akan semakin baik dan meningkat kinerja guru di sekolah. This study aims to determine how big the relationship between the academic supervision of the principal to teacher performance in Private High School Pondok Melati Subdistrict, Bekasi City. This research uses quantitative approach with survey method. The population in this study was 112 teachers, with a total sample of 88 teachers spread from several private high schools in Pondok Melati Subdistrict, Bekasi City, namely SMAS Pangudi Luhur II, SMAS Hutama, SMAS Sandikta, and SMAS Handayani. Sampling techniques used are Proportional Random Sampling and Simple Random Sampling. Data collection techniques in this study using questionnaires with likert scale. Hypothesis testing was conducted using a Product Moment Correlation Test, and t Table Test. Based on the results of the hypothesis test obtained thitung = 7,489 greater than the ttabel = 1,988, with the acquisition of a coefficient of determination of 0.395 or 39.5%. This shows that the academic supervision of the principal contributes 39.5% to the teacher's performance. Thus, from the results of this study, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship between the variables of academic supervision of the principal and the performance of teachers in the Private High School Pondok Melati Subdistrict, Bekasi City. That is, the better the implementation of academic supervision of the principal, the better and improved the performance of teachers in the school.
