Abstract

ABSTRAK Attin Azizah, Estetika Motif Teknik Tie Dye Teknik Ecoprint Pada Kain. Skripsi, Jakarta: Program Studi Pendidikan Tata Busana, Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, 2021. Dalam meningkatkan keanekaragaman motif dapat dilakukan dengan cara menggabungkan teknik pembuatan motif sehingga keindahan motif yang dihasilkan lebih bervariasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui estetika motif teknik tie dye teknik ecoprint pada kain yang dinilai dengan teori estetika berdasarkan penerapan unsur desain dan prinsip desain. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain One-Shoot Case Study. Pada kelima motif pada kain dinilai dengan penerapan unsur desain (bentuk, ukuran, warna dan tekstur) dan prinsip prinsip desain (proporsi, harmoni dan irama. Hasil eksperiment yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini dapat diketahui bahwa untuk mendapatkan hasil pewarna alam yang baik pada teknik tie dye pencelupan dilakukan secara berulang, zat mordan dan fiksasi tawas menghasilkan warna cerah pada zat pewarna alam dan daun, pemilihan daun muda dan baru dipetik pigment warna daun keluar dengan maksimal, motif terjiplak dengan baik jika tidak menggunakan teknik bayangan cermin. Hasil dari peneliaan estetika motif teknik tie dye teknik ecoprint pada kain mendapatkan nilai baik, dikarenakan dalam proses penggabungan teknik motif sesuai dengan teori estetika yang diterapkan pada proses pembuatan motif. Thesis, Jakarta: Fashion Design Education Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Jakarta State University, 2021. Increasing the diversity of motifs can be done by combining motif-making techniques so that the beauty of the resulting motifs is more varied. The Research was done to determine the aesthetics of the tie dye ecoprint model on the fabric, which was assessed the aesthetic theory based on the application of design elements and design principles. This research use quantitative model with One-Shoot Case Design Study. The five motifs on the fabric are assessed base on design elements (shape, size, color and texture) and design principles (proportion, harmony and rhythm). The results of the experiments carried out in this study can be seen that to get good natural dye results in the tie dye technique, dyeing is carried out repeatedly, mordant and alum fixation produce bright colors on natural dyes and leaves, selecting young leaves and freshly picked, the leaf color pigment comes out to the maximum, the motif is traced well if you don't use the mirror image technique. The results of the aesthetic study of the tie dye technique of the ecoprint technique on the fabric got a good score because the process of combining the motif techniques under with the aesthetic theory applied to the process of making motifs.
