Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap student engagement pada siswa sekolah dasar selama pembelajaran berbasis daring. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 161 siswa sekolah dasar kelas 5. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Motivated Strategies Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ) oleh Pintrich digunakan untuk mengukur variabel motivasi belajar, Student engagement scale oleh Fredricks untuk mengukur variabel student engagement atau keterlibatan belajar. Hasil dari penelitian F = 65,375 dan P = 0,00, maka terdapat pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap student engagement pada Siswa Sekolah Dasar selama pembelajaran berbasis daring. Variabel motivasi belajar berpengaruh sebesar 29,1% terhadap student engagement. This research aims to determinate the effect of Learning Motivation on Student engagement in elementary school student during distance learning. This research is using a quantitative method. The subject consist 161 respondents of elementary school student grade five. The measurement using Motivated Strategies Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ) from Pintrich for learning motivation variable and for Student engagement scale from Fredricks for student engagement variable. The result shows that F = 65,375 and P = 0,00, there is the effect of learning motivation on student engagement in elementary school student during distance learning. Learning motivation have an effect of 29,1% on student engagement.
