Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara social comparison dan self-efficacy pada fresh graduate lulusan Perguruan Tinggi yang belum bekerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 252 fresh graduate yang belum bekerja dan berdomisili di Jabodetabek. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Iowa-Netherlands Comparison Orientation Mesure (INCOM) milik Gibbsons & Buunk yang diadopsi dari Marthana untuk mengukur variabel social comparison, General Self Efficacy Scale (GSES) milik Schwarzer & Jarusalem yang diadopsi dari Novrianto, Marretih, dan Wahyudi untuk mengukur variabel self-efficacy. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif signifikan antara social comparison dan self-efficacy pada fresh graduate lulusan Perguruan Tinggi yang belum bekerja. This study aims to determine the relationship between social comparison and self-efficacy in new college graduates who are not employed. This study uses a quantitative approach, with a total sample of 252 fresh graduates who are not employed and are domiciled in Greater Jakarta. The instruments used in this research are Gibbsons & Buunk's Iowa-Netherlands Comparison Orientation Mesure (INCOM) adopted from Marthana to measure social comparison variables, Schwarzer & Jarusalem's General Self Efficacy Scale (GSES) adopted from Novrianto, Marretih, and Wahyudi to measure self-efficacy variables. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant positive relationship between social comparison and self-efficacy in fresh graduates who are not employed.
