Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kesadaran diri dan daya tarik interpersonal terhadap presentasi diri di media sosial instagram. Poupulasi pada penelitian ini adalah dewasa awal (18-40 tahun) di Indonesia yang memiliki media sosial instagram. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik accidental sampling. Pengambilan data dengan menyebarkan kuesioner secara daring dan mendapatkan 483 responden. Alat ukur yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu Situasional Self Awareness Scale, Skala Daya Tarik Interpersonal, dan Skala Presentasi Diri. Uji regresi linier berganda dengan hasil penelitian nilai F hitung yaitu sebesar 21.596 > 2.62 (F-tabel) atau kesadaran diri dan daya tarik interpersonal berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap presentasi diri. Selain itu berdasarkan hasil uji persamaan regresi, terjadi pengaruh positif antara kesadaran diri dan daya tarik interpersonal terhadap presentasi diri. Hal ini menunjukkan, apabila setiap ada kenaikan satu persen variabel kesadaran diri maka akan menyebabkan presentasi diri naik 0.233 dan apabila ada kenaikan satu persen pada variabel daya tarik interpersonal maka akan menyebabkan presentasi diri naik 0.177 This study aims to determine the effect of self-awareness and interpersonal attractiveness on self-presentation on Instagram. The population in this study are early adults in Indonesia who have Instagram social media. This study uses a quantitative approach with accidental sampling technique. The data were collected by distributing online questionnaires and getting 483 respondents. The measuring instruments used in this study are the Situational Self Awareness Scale, the Interpersonal Attraction Scale, and the Self-Presentation Scale. Multiple linear regression test with the results of the calculated F value of 21,596 > 2.62 (F-table) or self-awareness and interpersonal attraction have a simultaneous effect on selfpresentation. In addition, based on the results of the regression equation test, there is a positive effect between self-awareness and interpersonal attractiveness on selfpresentation. This shows, if there is an increase of one percent in the self-awareness variable, it will cause self-presentation to increase by 0.233 and if there is a onepercent increase in the interpersonal attractiveness variable, it will cause selfpresentation to increase by 0.177.
